It was a seemingly normal night so far. Not much commotion and nothing really worth stopping to check up on. Eliza had just got done at the hospital which she wasn't happy about having to go to. Of course she had made up some lame story about how she was out running and tripped over a log causing her broken arm. Not a likely story for her but the doctors had bought it. The bright side was that because she was for lack of a better phrase homeless the doctors told her that the state would cover her bills. That was a relief. The doctors had adhorned her with a cast which she had chosen to be dark purple. The cast only reached to below her elbow and envoloped her hand. Six to eight weeks and she would have to return to the hospital to have the cast removed. It wa a hinderance that she was extremely irritated with.
After leaving the hospital she started making her way back to the abandoned building that she was sleeping in at the moment. But before she even got halfway there someone walked out of an alley and cut off her path of destination. It took her only a moment to realize that it was a vampire and she pulled the stake from her jacket pocket getting ready to fight. As the vampire advanced upon her she sidestepped and made sure her eyes stayed on him. It wasn't long before two others showed up though and her ability to win the fight dwindled. As the vampires all advanced on her one kicked the stake from her hand and grabbed her by the back of the neck forcing her to the ground. Now, now, no need to fight. You are perfect for the offering the vampire hissed into her ear and then picked her up like a kitten.
Seeing that she wasn't going to come quietly she vampire that had her in his grasp slammed her into the side of a building knocking her out cold. It was easy to carry her unconscious body now. The vampires carried her to the designated spot in the cemetary and dropped her limp body to the ground making sure to keep an eye on her to see if she was going to wake up anytime soon. If it was possible, Christine felt even worse as she left the mall then she did when she had left the apartment that day. Her encounter with Paige had left such a bad taste in her mouth that she almost looked forward to going home. At least she had accomplished what she had set out to do, buy new sneakers. She had slipped off her old, ripped shoes as soon as she got out of the mall and was now walking comfortably in her new shoes. At least she had that going for her. Her brother's father would surely be gone when she got home and she could at least look forward to spending some uninterrupted time with the little guy.
She felt it suddenly. A slight twitch in her right shoulder alerting her that someone was following her. Now that she was aware she could hear the foot steps of more that one person behind her. It's not like this is the first time it ever happened to her, when you lived on the bad side of time you had to watch out for yourself some times. She wasn't afraid to fight, if she had to. But the better option would be to use her knowledge of the city to lose them before they could gain any ground on her. She picked up her pace slightly, too slightly for any human to notice, and weighed her options. She was too far from home to hope to make a dash for it but she knew a few short cuts through some alleyways to a shopping area that was always filled with people. Surely they wouldn't dare try something if they were surrounded by people? If she had to run through the alleys, she would, though it was always ideal to keep your cool.
She saw the first alley coming up on her left and made a quick movement down it, positive that they, whoever they were, were well behind her. Suddenly, impossibly, they were beside her. Two men, one on either side of her, grabbing her arms. She pulled back as hard as she could but the men were strong. Much stronger than she ever expected, she didn't seem to be able to budge them at all. Instinctively she swung her legs up in the air, using the only appendages she had free. She swung them back and hit both the men in their legs. Aside from a small grunt from her right she was pretty sure she hadn't hurt either of them. So, she did the only thing she had left to do: she screamed. As loud as she could and kicked her legs back and forth in an attempt to wiggle free of their clutches.
"Jesus, I thought this one would be easy..." She heard the one on her right mumble before she felt a heavy blow to her head. Just before she passed out cold she glanced up. What was wrong with their faces?

Where was Preston?
Tapping his foot softly, yet rhythmatically against the hard concrete below, he glanced around. First sidewards, then backwards. Still no sign of the footballer. Zane sighed softly, before looking at his watch. It was already 7.15, and the night was slowly drawing in more and more darkness by the minute. They were supposed to be meeting at 7.00, but obviously that wasn't going to be panning out. He knew Preston was never on the ball, which was evident by him turning up half way through each class. The odd time that he was there on time, he wasn't paying attention anyway. He knew Preston wasn't looking foward to having to study, so he had decided to make it less restricted and had agreed to an hour at the Bronze, before coming back to his place to begin the studying for the class test and assignments which were drawing near for history. Preston needed to understand that he needed to do well, and Zane wanted to help him do well.
Zane moved over to one of the wooden benches, and sat down, looking rather bored and lifeless. Why did he even agree to meet Preston here? Because it was close to the Bronze for both of them? He should've just went to Preston's house and forced him to come with him then and there. It was definantly a better option than waiting, for possibly nothing. Why did he even have so much hope? It must've been because Preston was his friend. What other reason was there? Zane was just that person that everyone could count on. Yet why couldn't he count on anyone else? He glanced at his watch once again, noticing that it had hit 7.22. This was getting rather strange. He didn't know whether to be worried, or just hope some more? Was it just another case of Preston being late, had he forgot, or was something else up with his friend?
It was shortly after this thought that Zane had heard a noise nearby in the bushes. It was such an unfamiliar noise. Apart from the shuffling of the bushes, which he put down to the slight breeze, there was another noise which he couldn't put his finger on. He turned sharply when he heard movement in the bushes, but sighed with somewhat relief when nothing was there, yet at the same time disappointed that it wasn't Preston. However the movement had continued in a close distance. "Preston? Is that you? Come on...This isn't funny. If I say I'm all freaked out, will you come out?" He looked around, but still nothing. Was it Preston? He sighed, and began to turn back to a facing posistion, when a woman appeared in front of him. He jumped, falling off of the wooden chair previously holding him from the floor. It was then that he noticed that she had Preston by the neck "This one is cute too. Can't we just keep one of the, and find another sacrifice?" Sacrifice? What the hell was she talking about?! And what was she doing with Preston?! The man vampire glared at Zane, before talking to the girl. "No, we need as many as possible now. We're taking them straight to the chapel."
Zane began shaking, his whole body tensing up. Was this some kind of joke, or some pranksters just trying to get a scare out of people? It wasn't even halloween...What was going on? He began getting to his feet, backing away from them slowly. "I-I don't w-want any trouble...Can you just let go of my friend and we'll be going now..." He began walking in the opposite direction, noticing that the footprints were now picking up behind him. He began running, only to find the woman appear right in front of him with a chuckle. He fell to the floor in shock. "Where do you think you're going cutey?" How did she get right in front of him like that?! And why was she so pale, was there like a sun deficiency going around that he was unaware of? He began crawling back, before being stopped by the man. He glanced at the woman, before looking on in horror as her face turned different. Her eyes, displaying a pure red color, and her face becoming mangled and wrinkled. What was happening?! He gasped loudly, before getting to his feet and running. He found himself running through the park, however his friends weren't too far off, and soon caught up to him. He was pounced on mid-run by the vampire and tackled to the floor, before being choked. The man's face was different too! He tried breaking free, but the man was incredibly strong. He wasn't that weak was he? One strong blow from the male and he was knocked out.
The last thing he remembered was being hoisted onto the man's shoulder, before the daze he was in become a state of unconsciousness, as Preston and himself were carried to a distant location...

Azazel looked on intently as the unconscious bodies began to rock up. They were all young, students he presumed. They were perfect. All young, innocent blood, perfectly fitting to be sacrifices. A smirk appeared on his sharp features, before glancing at the vampire capturers. "You did well." He turned back to the captives, who were placed roughly on the floor of the chapel. The perfect place to hold them, without being seen by any imposing forces. It was also a quick access to the caverns below, with many secret passages connected to this very chapel. With the amount of vampires located already within the chapel, and more to come with more sacrifices, it would be unwise for anyone, such as a slayer to interfere. It would also be stupid, as they wouldn't last long, and would easily be added to the list of sacrifices. The more the merrier, he thought.
Walking slowly around the chapel, in particular eyeing the unconscious young students, he turned back to the vampires. "We wait for the others to return, then we take these ones down to the caverns. I want it to be as slow and painful for them as possible. I want every fibre of their blood oozed out, as the portal will require much blood to awaken." He paused when he noticed one of the vampire's coming in, with a body in hand. But the body had been handled with already, and Azazel soon noticed blood coming off of the lips of the vampire. "You fool!" He spat aggressively, before moving over to him and pinning him to the wall. "How dare you go against my authority and feed on him!" The man rebutted that the boy was still alive. "It doesn't matter whether he is alive or not, he is tainted!" Azazel snapped the neck of the vampire, watching him turn to dust, before glaring at another, who was now looking rather intimidated and nervous. "Finish the boy. No point in letting a good meal go to waste." Anger was now present on the vampire's face. Would they need more sacrifices, or would this suffice?

Logan had received the call two hours previously. His temp secretary left him a note telling him that the portal will be opening tonight, cemetery chapel. He found it nice that she didn’t question his calls anymore, just simply took notes and left them on his table. He had paced around the office trying to figure out if he should go. For the millions of reasons he had decided not to go there was one clear reason that was more important than anything else; it was his duty to make sure the Portal stayed closed. If possible he would destroy it but for now all he could focus on was dealing with Azazel’s inner circle, while assuring that the portal didn't open. He had armed himself with two daggers that were concealed within his waistband along with a stake that was hidden inside his jacket.
Upon arriving at the chapel he was welcomed by a few familiar faces. Friends, foes, and even a few vampires that he had sired were in the church. He didn’t know if they were part of the Inner Circle or just here to spectator. Four vampires feasted on the remains of the boy draining him like a child with an empty juice box. He felt like a former alcoholic walking into the bar. The unconscious bodies were slumped on the floor, he could see they were still breathing, some were still conscious. He looked around almost disgusted in himself for even being there.
His attention turned to Azazel who walked around the room with the confidence and power of royalty. “Well brother, looks like we've got our sacrifices, your loyal followers have loyally followed and the portal is ready to open.” he says with a smile patting him with a friendly backslap. “Looks like it’s all coming together, how long until the portal opens?” he asks as he picks up a familiar scent in the air, he didn’t instantly recognize it but it was Eliza, she was one of the hostages and he had no idea.

Amelia was sceptical when she had heard the bodies will be taken to the chapel. A chapel meant holy grounds and any vampire knew that they could not enter holy grounds. But maybe this chapel was special, or not really a chapel at all but a building just pretending. The portal could also have something to do with it. She pondered this idea she waited outside the store for the young boy she had been watching to walk out. The streets were almost completely empty by now; most of the shops were closing up. When the boy finally came out of the store she waited for him to round the corner and be out of sight from any of the other stores on the street. When he did Amelia wasted no time in running as fast as she could to catch up with him. Amelia mentally scolded herself; she wasn’t dressed for fighting or killing tonight. She was dressed like one who was going to a formal party; indeed a mass killing of humans did sound fun to her. But this boy she was following looked like one that would put up a fight. She didn’t even give him time to turn around before knocking his head into the building beside. It wasn’t enough to kill him but he was going to be unconscious for a while.
As soon as she had walked into the chapel the smell of freshly spilled blood was strong. Four vampires were drinking the rewards of this mistake. Amelia couldn't help but smile to herself, there's always one in the group that doesn't listen. They were told not to bite or waste any blood, clearly someone had slipped up; and as she got closer she noticed the pile of dust on the ground and the tension and anger between some of the vampires. Amelia dropped the boy in her arms carelessly onto the pile of unconscious bodies, like a doll into a toy box. "Is that all of them?" she asked, surveying the piles of humans. They all looked so peaceful, almost like they were sleeping. Of course that peaceful look would be ripped away from them the second they awoke to all these vampires. Nonetheless, she had been hoping for more of them to play with.

patrolling was the one thing that gemma found satisfying, lately. it was so easy, and sure, sometimes there was a demon or two she hadn't been prepared for, but it was thrilling, or maybe she was just looking at it wrong. a normal person would find it terrifying, but then again gemma wasn't just any girl, she had a duty in life as the slayer, a duty that she had to go through with whether she wanted to or not. and most days, she didn't want anything to do with it. she was slowly wising up to the fact that she would just have to deal with it, she couldn't just ignore everything like she wanted to. it was her job to fight against the vampires and whatever other demons were out there, mainly in miami, and she had to get the job done. she was realizing that, slowly but surely. it would take time before it really settled into her head and she actually acted upon it. for now, she just did the minimum. patrolling, and if a demon crossed paths she'd get the job done, but she didn't go out of her way to find something new to hunt down. she had better things to do with her time, she had things she'd rather be doing, and she didn't see anything wrong with that.
today was no different, she'd simply been patrolling when she'd noticed something a little off in the cemetery. and by a little off, she'd noticed a vampire dragging some male, effortlessly behind her. where she was headed, gemma wasn't sure. her first instinct was to just attack, right then and there, save the kid and continue with patrolling but the vampire was going somewhere and gemma could only assume that there was something going on there. though, what it was she wasn't sure, but it was best she figure it out now rather then when it was too late. she followed behind quietly, keeping up her pace and trying to go unnoticed. she made sure there was a good amount of space between herself and the vampire, and it wasn't a long time after she began following the vampire that the vampire entered the nearest chapel. frowning, gemma followed in unwillingly, what the hell was a vampire doing in a chapel? wasn't there some rule or something stating that they couldn't go there? holy grounds, or something? anything
she wasn't just going to open the door, that just wasn't doable, she didn't know what was in there and she didn't think opening the door and busting in was the right way to go about things. running around the back she managed to sneak a peek through the window, and a surprising sight met her questioning eyes. there was a ton of vamps, as well as some people she knew were human lying around. was this some sort of... well, whatever it was, gemma was going to get down to the bottom of it. she just wasn't sure how. yet. first, she just had to figure out a better way to get in than barging through the front door. when she couldn't find a back door, she tried to find the window with the least amount of people. finding a window that opened up to an empty room, she shimmied the window open and crawled through. trying to be as quiet as she could, she made her way out of that room, and pressed herself against the wall in the empty hall towards the end closest to where the whole thing seemed to be going on. she'd just listen in, for a bit anyway, the listening would only last for so long. she just had to figure out what was going on before... well, before she did whatever it was she had to. [/blockquote] HEY THERE, PLOT PEOPLE, WE'RE CURRENTLY IN SOME CHAPEL, AND GEMMA'S DRESSED TO THE NINES IN THIS. THIS POST IS FINISHED AT 638 WORDS. THE BANNER CREDIT GOES TO SYDKNEE SAYS OF CAUTION. OH, ONE LAST THING THISSUCKS, SO TIRED.

When he saw Logan enter the fray and join them, a smirk erupted on his expression. He walked up to him, placing his hand on his shoulder firmly. "I'm glad you could make it Logan. You definantly won't be disappointed with what is to come." Seeing Logan enter like this, further made Azazel believe that he was on their side. Maybe the soul wasn't as restricting as he had thought. Maybe his words had gotten into the head of Logan? Whatever the cause, he was glad to see that he didn't have to kill Logan, and instead they could be allies like in the good old times.
The last time the two of them had met, Logan explained to him about this 'Shanshu Prophecy' and that once fulfilled, he would be able to become his true self again. That would be an extremely thrilling moment. He needed an apocalypse? What was more apocalyptic than the opening of a portal to hell? Azazel looked back at Logan, noticing he hadn't brought anyone. "I see you're still one for not bringing any gifts...Oh well, the amount of sacrifices we have for now will suffice. If not, there will always be more around." Nothing was going to go wrong tonight, he would make sure of it. It was time for this city to become their town, hell.
Of course Logan was curious, and had questions. "It won't be long now, my friend. We have all the sacrifices, we are just waiting on some of the vampires to return and then they can all be taken down to the caverns, and shed of their blood, which in turn will awaken the portal. But I like your impatience, I am feeling that way too." He glanced at the vampires holding one of the boys, Zane and the girl Elizabeth. "Take those two down for now, and begin the slaughter." The vampire grunts nodded their heads, before grabbing the two handpicked by Azazel, and dragging them through one of the doors in the chapel, before disappearing into the darkness. "I'm sure the portal needs an apetiser, after all." He smirked evily, before noticing that they were joined by another vampire, Amelia, the one he had befriended earlier. He looked on in thrill as she also had a hostage with her. "Excellent." He stated with the grin increasing, as Amelia entered. "This is all of them. I've had two being taken down now to start up the sacrifices. Won't be long before they are all taken down and slaughtered like the animals that they are."
It was not long after that he heard a noise nearby. He looked on in curiosity, wondering what it could've been. It could easily be another vampire coming to join the party, but he wanted to be entirely sure. "You..." He glanced at two of the vampire grunts doing nothing. "Go check it out. Don't take too long, we have work to get ready." He watched as they walked off towards the direction of the noise, before turning back to Logan. "Are you thirsty? We can't drink the sacrifices, but I'm sure we could round up someone tasty for your liking." He smirked.

Logan forced a smile as Azazel made physical contact with him. He had successfully joined the Inner Circle. he was calm and collected as some of the vampires pulled their faces at his presence and how close he was with Azazel, clearly he wasn’t trusted; however the vampires were loyal to Azazel and if he said Logan was to be trusted they had no choice. He nodded, “I’m apologize for not bringing a sacrifice brother. I’m still . . . having trouble with the killing.”
“I can’t wait to feast with you once we’re done and I’ll finally be rid of my soul.” he lied as he knelt down by the bodies. The bold purple cast on Eliza’s arm instantly caught his eye; he recognized the scent now that he was closer to her but her face was covered as she lay face down in the chapel. He softly pulled back her hair and rested it behind her ear making it look like he was examining her neck. It was her.
Logan played it cool as he rose to his feet again just as Azazel gestured for the vampires to carry them down to the portal. He hid his fear as Amelia entered the room bringing her own body to add to the sacrifices. He watched as Eliza was carried down into the catacombs. He listened to Azazel and Amelia’s conversation ignoring the details as his mind raced, thinking of ways he could protect Eliza, he didn’t even notice the noise the slayer made entering the building.
”No brother, I’m fine I drank before I arrived.” he said, it had been cows blood but blood all the same. “I want to get down there.” he told Azazel, “I don’t trust your men not to get bitey, I know what the hunger is like.” he said to Azazel as he followed the two vampires into the tunnel system that led to the portal. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he left the main chapel, he had been on holy grounds before and felt uncomfortable but this chapel seemed to be built to pay respect to an entity other than god, stepping into the ancient tunnels he felt a far darker prescience as he caught up with the vampires, he couldn’t tell but it looked like Eliza was waking up a little, he started coming up with a plan as they got closer to the portal’s location.

OOC: Seemed like a good spot to have the hostages rejoin the thread, Logan left it open for Eliza at least to join easily.
As she started to come to again she tried to remember what had happened. It took her a moment but she remembered being captured and knocked out by two vampires. It mildy surprised her that they hadn't killed her until she though that it was probably just that they hadn't killed her yet. Her blurry vision began to clear and she tried to take in her surroundings, not recognizing anything. She knew she was being held right now by a vampire and a glance to her left showed her that the boy she had met at school, Zane, was being held also. So this was a sacraficial type kidnapping, well good to know she had some slim chance of escaping still.
After taking in that she was somewhere dark and dank, most likely a basement or underground she started to squirm in her capturer's grip. Let go of me she growled and shoved her legs back nailing him in the shins. He howled in pain but didn't let her go, he was a tough little bastard. She didn't recognize anyone else until she got her attacker to spin around a little towards the way they had come down here and saw Logan. Instantly her eyes turned from surprise to anger and resentment when she saw he was a part of this. You lieing piece of she started to hiss in a deadly tone before the vampire that had a hold of her slammed her to the ground Now, now, no need to be scared the disgusting creature hissed in her ear. It felt like one of those moments you were enjoying a good dream, and then you were awoken from it suddenly. He could feel himself being dragged, and his eyes begin to slowly open, though it felt like he had a burning migrain in his skull. What had happened? His eyes began to see more clearly, and he could see that he was being dragged in some place which didn't look familiar at all. Was this some kind of joke from the jocks at the school, or something? Maybe Preston's idea? Preston...He began to remember that he was supposed to be meeting Preston. Then he saw him, but thats when his memory became fazy. He looked up slightly to the strong person dragging him through this mysterious place, and noticed it was a face which rung a bell in his mind. It was that person who he saw when waiting for Preston...The one who had attacked him. Oh! And his face changed into something freaky. But it wasn't anymore? How could his face go from full of scars, to smooth and normal? He didn't understand.
He tried as best as he could to look at his surroundings to get an idea of where they were, but it was rather difficult, as the man dragging him was extremely rough. It wasn't long after, that he had heard a voice. A familiar voice. It sounded like someone he had spoken to at the school, but at the current moment he couldn't put his finger on it. Whoever it was, they weren't happy about being dragged to the center of nowhere. He was beginning to feel like nowhere was a better and less freaky place than this. All he could see was deep tunnels, covered in what looked like rocky/sandy walls. But there was a light up ahead, which at first blinded his eyes for a few short moments. Then he felt being dumped onto the rough sandy floor below him. Where were they?
He could finally move his neck around at all of his surroundings. And that was when he remembered who the voice was, when he saw Elizabeth also dumped onto the ground. "Elizabeth?" He questioned softly, still obvious signs of trauma and drowsyness. Why was she here? Why was he even here? If memory served him correctly, then Preston was also here. Why all the students? Was this some kind of attack on the school or something by playing with the students? His worst fears come to reality when he remembered what the vampire had said before he was knocked out. They were to be sacrifices.
His skin cringed, feeling shivers all over his body. He couldn't be a sacrifice...That meant death...Pain and sharp objects he presumed. This couldn't be happening! He was just a everyday student, nothing out of the ordinary. He kept to himself and didn't cause trouble. He was going to go on to university and major...Now he was going to major in sacrificial studies. "Wheres Preston?!" He questioned, though a more demanding tone in his voice. He wanted to be with his friend, he couldn't lose him. The mysterious man glanced at him with a snicker. "The others will be done soon enough. You guys just have the honour of spilling your blood first. Isn't it beautiful?" He rhetorically stated, pointing to a large rune life structure. Zane looked on in awe. If one had ever seen Stargate on television, it was rather similar to the ring-like structure in there, however looked old...Much older. Like something ancient that didn't belong, or something. However this portal wasn't facing upwards. It was imprinted into the ground, almost like a rune or fossil like strucure. It was obviously dug up, which would explain the way this cavern was looking. "Get the sacrifices ready..." One of the vampires spat. It wasn't long before Zane felt himself being dragged closer to the portal. He inhaled deeply. He couldn't go like this...He just couldn't. Would anyone even know he was gone? Care?

Preston was on his way to meet Zane, he had a meeting with Zane to study. Zane had agreed to allow Preston to go out to party for a little bit before returning to study. Finally the time was running out. They had agreed to meet in the cemetery. It was a halfway point between the bronze, Zane's house, Preston's house and the Library. All the places they could study and where Preston was coming from.
He looked about and was strolling through the cemetery. He was enjoying the night sky. He was glad that it was not full moon. He really hated the full moon for that was when the payment for his powers had to be paid. When he would make the monthly transformation into a wolf.
He was supposed to be meeting Zane at 7:00 but he was running a bit late which was not uncommon for Preston. He had a tendency to be late. Which was ironic since his whole life revolved around a clock. The moon.
He was walking and he heard a noise off in the distance coming toward him and a weird smell as well. He had his enhanced senses and he did not like what was coming toward him. He took off running at a normal human pace and not the increased speed that he was capable off. After all as far as he knew he was on of the strongest and most powerful beings in the area. THough he did not like the smell.
Though it was not long before something ran faster than him and was right in front of him. She was there and he stopped he knew that he had two choices as she spoke. Well well what do we have here, a handsome human boy for our sacrifice, we only need two more after you handsome. He had his two choices, either can fight and more than likely win or go with and maybe help others. He knew he was strong and gifted but the woman thought that he was human so that was an up on him.
He then decided to keep his werewolf self a secret even more and maybe he could get some other people safe. He tried to run again and then he was a knocked in the back of the head hard and he was knocked down.
They then carried him a few yards before his healing kicked in and he was back up and running he tried struggling as he smelled Zane and tried to yell out but he could not. The vampire grabbed him by the throat where he could not say anything without having his throat cut. He could not die that way but it would hurt like hell. And it would give away that he was not human as well.
They chased down Zane and got him where he could see and they ended up knocking him cold while keeping Preston on a really short leash. They carried him to the church and he heard the vampires and watched them drink the blood. He was horrified by these vampires. He watched them move and fight and kill on another in the church. He was learning about them. He could tell the he had similar abilities to them as far as he could tell exact same abilities just he was human at the moment and they were not. He could still heal though. He knew he stayed away from silver and all but these guys had more weaknesses than he did. Then again they were evil.
He then heard Zane wake up a bit further down the cavern from him where he was watching and learning. He could tell that he could take on a few vampires but felt out numbered here. He wanted someone else, he had the natural instincts of a pack animal and did not like the fact he was outnumbered here. He was a werewolf after all.
Though he could be there for Zane he was not going to let them hurt his friend. He moved toward him silently and calmly. Yo Zane it is ok, I am and fine. We will be ok, trust me.

He understood Logan's means for not having feasted on anyone, though at the same time he was rather annoyed at it. Not specifically at Logan, but at the soul restriciting him from being the heartless vampire he used to be. Was heartless even the correct term? It seemed it needed to be souless, instead. But all of that would change when the portal opened and an apocalypse began. The 'Shanshu' what Logan referred to it as. He really couldn't be more excited for Logan's soul to go away. He wanted to see the non-pathetic Logan again. The Logan that he wouldn't be tempted to stake through the heart at any moment.
He almost felt sick at Logan's comment. He knew he had drank, but animal blood? He could smell the foul scent all over him. Did Logan forget he was a vampire, or just decided to leave that part out? Nethertheless, he wasn't going to destroy the moment by causing petty arguments. He had a soul, and he was bound to continue being pathetic. But in many ways, he had strong points, as he mentioned wanting to go down to the portal. "Of course...I'm glad that soul of yours hasn't completely clouded your judgement. I won't have them ruining my plans over their weak minds craving blood." He began walking away, ready to head down to the tunnel, but signalled to one of the vampires to bring another sacrifice down, the boy known as Preston. He looked at Amelia. "Wait here and wait for the others to get back. They are taking their time again, it seems..." He growled, before continuing. "And make sure the remaining hostages remain untouched. I want their blood clean and fresh."
He then noticed one of the boy's communicating with the other one, who was brought down first. He glared at one of the vampires. "Silence him...Last time I checked, sacrifices were quiet." He glared at the boy known as Preston, before looking at Logan. "Well my friend, this is it. You can just feel the power, can't you? It won't be long now before that soul of yours is gone, and you can encompass the darkness again..."

Christine heard more than felt her feet being dragged across some sort of stone floor. She couldn't remember the last time she had a headache like this. It was like she was being continually smashed over the head with a hammer. "Shit, Fu...." She let out a stream of her choicest swear words as the feeling came back to the rest of her limbs. "Remember, try to remember," She thought to herself. It came back to her suddenly. A dark alleyway and two men. She wasn't sure if she was remembering correctly but their might have been something wrong with their faces. Her eyes slowly focused and first thing she saw was a glittering cross. A church? Jesus, those Christian kid's pushiness was starting to get a little out of hand.
She heard a distinct voice from somewhere in front of her but she couldn't make out if she recognized the voice or not. She took stock of the situation. There were definitely people being dragged in front of her and possibly behind her, she couldn't really tell. It was a church, she knew that, but the more she looked around the more she felt like she was being dragged somewhere else. Maybe under the church somewhere. It was hard to tell when her head felt like splitting open. She swung her feet forward and tried to get her footing. It was more dignified to walk to your certain doom than be dragged. There was no way she would be able to fight when she was hurt like this, she still couldn't really see straight. The bottom of her feet managed to find the ground and she tried unsuccessfully to shrug her captor off. She was certain there was almost no way of getting out of this and it was one of the first times in her life she was truly afraid.

”I’ll take her from here.” Logan spoke with the calm authority of a superior to the vampire who did as he said. He grabbed her and held her in a tight bear hug. He gave the illusion he was crushing her chest in with his vampire strength but was applying as little pressure as possible, only enough for minor discomfort. “In Romania, they have a saying.” He told the vampire’s as he looked towards them. ”If you want to get out of here alive take the dagger from the inside of my jacket and hide it, don’t do anything until I tell you.” he spoke in fluent Romanian, the other vampires were baffled by his use of the language, “It means the blood of the pure is the most sweet.” he lied as he tossed Eliza over his shoulder , he could hear the other footsteps approach as they entered the portal’s chamber.
He carried the girl with a fighting spirit to the room and dropped her onto the ground by Zane. He folded his arms and returned to the trio of vampires as the leashed boy rushed forward and spoke to Zane. He told him it was going to be ok. Logan walked to the portal, it was inactive but the magical properties of the item were unmistakable. He ran his finger across the surface of the carved stone and shivers ran down his spine. This was some bad voodoo. He bit his lower lip and glanced towards Zane before Azazel entered and quickly reigned in Preston.
He watched helplessly as Zane was dragged to the base of the portal. He knew what would come next, the first sacrifice would have his blood drained from his wrist. He helplessly stood as the young boy was prepared. He could feel Eliza’s eyes on him, he couldn’t look at her. She had made this complicated, faceless hostages were one thing but she had a name, a history. And at the moment she had severe trust issues with Logan. He just hoped she wouldn’t kill him the first opportunity she got.
“This magic, it’s ancient.” he said as he continued to examine the portal. ”It’s almost like it’s not from our world, even the stones feel full of energy.” he says he feels almost as if he can’t control his demonic nature as he represses the vampire state. “This, it’s bigger than us Azazel.” there was a hint of fear in his voice, “This is really big.” He now understood why demons were being drawn here, it was begging to be opened, and whatever was on the other side was like a magnet drawing demons towards it. He knew Azazel would pick up on his fear, he was actually hoping on it, it was the distraction he was hoping would give Eliza time to make her move.
