Magic Chart!
This chart gives an overview of the different levels in magic, and possibly even how one might achieve them. Keep in mind that if your character is a magic user, they will be added to this chart accordingly. If they breach their level, there will be consequences, such as a demotion or temporary/permanent ban from using magic. The more a member uses their magic responsibly in their posts, the higher chance they have of obtaining a higher level in magic usage.[/center]
Fighting Level ------ Description -----
Level 1- Beginner |
These people have possibly done some reading on magic, and have decided to learn more about the craft. There isn't much they can do at this level except read...Study, and understand the art of magic, and how it operates. They may try some spells, but the likeliness of them succeeding is less to none. This is just a trial stage which doesn't last too long, just to test the character's responsibility with magic.
Level 2- Student of the Craft |
Now that characters have fully studied and understood certain aspects of the craft, they are now able to join in chants, but do not have the power, nor concentration to carry out one on their own (unless extremely minor). People moving into magic are able to begin attempting to garner the power of telekinetically moving things with their mind, however people not continuing further with magic cannot.
Level 3- Scholar |
This is the final level a human is able to possess magic, before they advance into the real magics. For that reason, only those who are moving on to further in magic may advance. Characters at this level are able to chant successfully on their own from books, etc, but cannot physically do anything with magic. Telekinesis is nailed down, however is only effective on light objects.
Level 4- Magic User |
People at this level are able to nail chanting with ease, unless they are undergoing severe emotional instances. They are able to begin telekinetically moving heavier objects, and may have success in doing so. Only witches may advance on from here.
Level 5- Witch |
Moving objects with the mind is a thing of the past, and at this level most witches will have knowledge of spells at their own disposal.
Level 6- Spellbinder |
Witches at this level are able to cast force fields, and can glide off of the ground. They are also able to tap into more darker/powerful magics.
Level 7- Professional |
Witches at this level can control/cast forcefields for a longer duration of time, and are also able to shoot currents from their hands to knock back/stun others temporarily..
Level 8- Servant of the Earth |
Witches at this level are able to drain the lifeforce/energy out of people surrounding them, or the earth in order to heal or cast more powerful magic. Force fields can be created and controlled with ease, however do waste a lot of power and can severely weaken the user.
Level 9- Mojo Master |
Witches at this level may start experimenting into astral projecting. This level is very rare to reach, and by this level they are able to do just about anything except fly around and completely astral project.
Level 10- Mage |
Magic users at this level have exceeded the term "witch," as it is defined by themselves. This level takes years of dedication to reach, and for that reason, is extremely difficult, and will likely never be reached by a character. Witches at this level are able to astral project and fly with ease, and heal themselves extremely quickly. Witches at this level are also able to teleport with ease from one location to another. There is a huge gap between this level and level 9 for a reason.
