It wasn’t just the lure of the bodies which had pulled him in, although them, with their sweet steady pumping sound was part of the temptation. But the music that was sending it’s rhythm through the air, flooding every nook and crany and reaching out from this building also called him in. He did love music so. That hadn’t changed, he’d found, unlike so many other things...like the lights. Those bright lights. Strobe lighting, he thought it was called but he wasn't sure and he didn't care. But it hurt, when the beam fell on him, so he avoided it, dancing between taller people all the time. Easy. But his love for music would never change. And the music here, with it’s hard sound ringing through his head was enough to wipe everything else from it. He wanted that. He didn’t want to have to think and feel anymore.
And then there was the safe feeling. Cocooned in the smell of sweat, arousal, and hot bodies and the sounds of blood and music, he wasn’t alone. Other’s were around him. Humans. Human’s were safe...they’d never hurt him. Never ever. They liked him now, they hadn’t before. They’d ignored him before, but now he simply walked in, and faces would turn towards him, and he didn’t understand why, but it was good. And they let him feed from them...they liked it. And kept coming back.
Or they had in his old town. In this new place...this new place that he didn’t know the name of or know where it was, or know anything except it smelt different and was full of noises which had scared him as he’d run, he hadn’t met anyone yet. He yearned...needed to. But now...now he needed to feed more. He was hungry, desperately hungry, so hungry his stomach felt like it was burning...but it was ok. Because the humans here would be like the ones at home, and come with him. All he had to do was take one by the hand and lead them after him, somewhere dark and secluded, then sip. They’d always enjoyed it before.
And this time turned out to be no different. He wondered to himself what it actually felt like, as he steered the small, heart-shaped face girl away from the crowd and towards a dark corner while she was...trying to climb him? That was rather odd. Why was she doing that? And she kept doing it as they moved into the shadows by the wall, and he felt the panes in his face change, the grinding of bone quite loud, to him, but apparently not to her. He marvelled at her little gasp (did he ever make those noises? He couldn’t remember being bitten himself, yet he must have done...probably) as he sank his teeth inexpertly into her neck. And sipped.
The warm copper taste flooded his senses, filling him, and he moaned softly, closing his eyes. If someone had told him as a human this was what he’d be doing, he’d have laughed. But now...he didn’t care. His attention on the rest of the club and the dancers and the music was gone now, replaced just by the feeding. It was so nice...and filling...but all too soon it became sour and horrid, and he grew bored of the taste, and pushed the still alive girl away. A small pink tongue ran over his lips, eagerly attempting to catch any drops of blood that may have spilled. He could feel a bit trailing down from his mouth, to his neck, but didn't care. His eyes were closed, and he was swaying, letting the feel and smell of the blood fade down, just slightly, still paying no attention to anything around him. Not the humans, not the girl, not the music. Nothing.
In hindsight, not paying attention probably wasn't the best of ideas...

Julien was dressed casually tonight. He had decided to go out and look for some fun, and that he did. He was wearing a pair of faded jeans, a black and gold graphic t shirt (the design on the front was a fleur de lis that was gold, which went nicely with the black background), he was wearing a pair of black tennis shoes as well. His clothes highly comfortable, flexible, and easy to move in. just the kind of clothes he liked in tight situations. Julien had gone out this night in search of a party. So the vampire quickly put his ears to use and found the source of a rather large amount of noise. It was something called Miami Fever. The name would not stick in his head long, as the loud noise, and the flashing lights pulled the man in quicker then humanly possible.
Before he could even think he found himself inside the large club. The lights nearly blinding him, as the music rang in his ears. Of course this type of environment would cause almost any vampire to cringe in fear. Julien though, was not one of those few who would cringe to the environment here. He was one to embrace the loud noise. Slowly moving towards the dance floor, he began to survey the area. He could feel the hearts, and the pumping of the blood through the veins from the dancers as they moved their bodies. The aroma of the room driving him crazy. Julien continued his way onto the dance floor. As soon as he stepped on though he was suddenly grabbed. The playful hands went across his body as he danced into the person holding him. He could tell it was a human because of the way the person smelled, and he could tell it was a man because something was now pocking him in the back. Breaking free of the man’s hold he continued his way onto the dance floor. He enjoyed the random grabs and feels of the strangers in the room. His eyes constantly roaming over the hundreds of potential victims. That is of course until he spotted one boy in particular. His scent was odd, different from the others. He must be a vampire, as he seemed cold and different from the people around him. The boy was dragging a young girl off towards the back, and Julien was soon in pursuit.
When he reached the alley where he had seen the pair run off into he quickly stepped into the shadows as not to be seen. He watched as the young man messily bit into the girls neck, feeding mercilessly on her. He was definitely not a pro, leaving rather large bite marks, and having bite far to low. He would never get the good blood if he did it that way. Julien had to wonder how young this vampire actually was. The smell of the freshly drawn blood was driving him mad though, and he was starting to move forward as he watched the boy step away from the girl in a haze of sorts. The girl fell to the floor, hitting it rather hard, but Julien cared more about the boy. He was stumbling forward; Julien quickly stepped forward, coming up behind the boy. Julien slide his arms around the boy pulling him close making sure he did not fall. He brought his mouth forward sticking out his tongue slowly licking up his way from his neck to his mouth; taking in the blood the boy had let drip. He slowly spoke to the boy as he continued to hold the boy “now, now, now little one… you must be new to the game, as you left that girl rather improperly bitten… how old are you? You must be new to not know how to and where to bite a woman… they have so many more tender veins, that give off a lot more blood then that small one you bit into.” A devious smirk as he held the boy tight so he could not possibly harm him.

Ohhh.... Toby still couldn’t get used to the rush drinking gave him. As a human...he’d never experienced anything like an addiction, or a drug rush. He’d been quiet, and shy, and bookish, and definitely not the type to take drugs, but now...he often wondered whether this was what it would have been like. The rush of euphiora that filled him...he hadn’t taken much. He never did. Not because he cared, because as much as he loved humans, life was life, and it was beautiful being seen with new eyes, but they were food, and they enjoyed it. Simply. But he never took much because the taste bored him. All blood tasted different, he found...and the mix of flavours made the rush so much more compelling.
He was lost in it, eyes closed, swaying back and forth like he was no longer there at all, but rather on an astral plane of his own creation...up until the moment when strong arms slid around him, anchoring him back to earth. His eyes flew open with a yelp of surprise as he was pulled against a hard body, opening his mouth to say something...only to have the feeling of a tongue licking his face clean so much more distracting. The body was keeping him upright and keeping his bare feet planted on the floor of wherever he had taken the girl too, but it was cold...deathly cold...Of course, he’d found he was always rather cold no, no matter how many blankets he’d found to wrap around himself. It had taken Tobias quite a few nights of frustration before he’d realised that it wasn’t the fact that he was cold...more that he didn’t feel it. And after that, he’d just not cared.
Without realising it, the baby vampire started purring, echoing out from deep within his chest as his demon responded to the attention being bestowed upon it. Another vampire, if the scent was anything to go by. But he didn’t care. Company. Company was all that mattered, and even his demon was singing with joy at the fact that, even for just this moment, it was no longer alone. Well, there had been the girl and...oh...what had happened to her again?
“I’m....mmm...mmm?” he managed to say, frowning as he realised the rumbling sound was coming from his own chest. He focussed on it them, his attention flitting from the stranger holding it to try to quieten it, so to get his own words out rather than just mindless noises. Only, by the time the sound had died down enough to speak...he’d forgotten what was being said. So instead, he just smiled brightly, his face still in the planes and ridges of his demon form, and twisted his neck to look up at the slighty taller...man? Probably. Maybe. If he remembered the sound of his voice correctly, most likely. “Hello. 'M Toby.”

The cold body beneath him shivered in excitement. The boy’s eyes closed as he purred in excitement. It was causing Julien to be driven crazy. He was adorable, simply adorable. He wanted to take the young boy, and keep him as a pet. Such an adorable reaction he could only hold him tighter. And continue to lick the blood off of his bare neck and cheek. Slowly he heard the boy answer. He was still in those euphoric moments that came with the blood. Looking down at the boy he smiled again, his face still normal and unchanged. He had no use for his teeth at that moment so he would stay in his human form.
Once the boy seemed to calm himself down enough to talk Julien quickly spun the boy to face him. Still holding the boy tight against him Julien let his hands roam. One hand moved onto his ass, the other gliding to the back of his head, slowly stroking his hair. His name was Toby, it suited him too. Pulling the young boy off towards a wall he pulled him closer. “So your name is Toby then. Well my little friend I go by the name of Julien…” a brief smirk as he continued to walk towards the wall, as he pushed the boy up against it. The shadows would conceal them perfectly. He felt the boys lose body still stumbling from the effects the blood had on him. He held the boy up though, keeping him steady, and making sure he would not fall.
“So little one…tell me, how old are you…. Where are you from.” He cooed in the boy’s ear as he slowly pulled the boy close nibbling on it. He was going to be a fun toy to play with, and Julien hoped that he would last longer than the others. Most gave up half way through play time, and that was no fun. Looking over him, he could tell he was a cutie. The blond tussled hair, his body in modern clothes. His face distorted by the vampiric form, though Julien could tell somewhat how he looked. “So little one, why are you all alone.” Julien was slowly continuing to stroke the boys head as he leaned in close their noses touching, and foreheads meeting as he nudged the young man trying to keep his attention on him. Julien could tell already that he was going to have fun with this new boy… a lot of fun.

He was purring again. Why did he keep doing that? He was pretty sure he had never purred before. It was one of the many things that he suddenly didn't understant at all, but it wasn't one of the bigs ones, so he didn't really spare it a thought. What he was thinking about now was how easily the other man was steering him around, like he was a puppet. And the hands that were touching him...he should be annoyed. Logically, the sensible thing to do would be annoyed, and push him away, though he wasn't sure why he would do that...and why he couldn't. In all honestly, Toby was getting pretty sick of not being sure about things.
"Julien...That's a nice name. Hello, Julien." He felt his back hit the wall, and whimpered slightly. He'd preferred it being against the man, really. The man, though hard and col, at least wasn't rough, like the stone was. That scraped through the back of his thin t-shirt. And it itched. He reached up with his hands to grasp the man biceps, those stupid manacles giving off a slightly dull glow before all light was blocked out at the shadow's fully surrounded them.
"I'm not little!" he cried indignantly. He wasn't! He was quite tall. Not as tall as this man, perhaps, but still, he'd never been the smallest of boys. He wasn't little. "I'm twenty-one, actually. Just dropped out of Uni. Not sodding little." He hadn't wanted to drop out, really, but after he'd woken up and dug himself out, and then found that the sunlight burned, and that worse, apparantly everyone thought him to be dead...it hadn't been possible. Besides...all those lectures. They just sounded boring now.

As Julien pushed the boy against the wall he held his face against the boy’s neck taking in his scent. When he whimpered in pain he held the boy against him, his back off against the wall, his body instead pressed against his own. Holding the boy up, to him he whispered in his ear. “Why thank you my friend… I do believe I like your name as well… I do hope your okay; I didn’t mean to hurt you my pet. Mmm such soft skin you have.” As he spoke Julien was slowly nuzzling into the man’s neck laughing a little. Oh how intoxicated this boy must be to be purring so incessantly. “Are you certain your okay though, you seem to be purring quit excessively… do you perhaps enjoy my touch.” with the word touch Julien’s hands began to play with the young boy’s body, caressing his ass, and stroking his hair. Oh what fun the two of them could have.
As Toby cried out in protest of being little it slightly shocked Julien. Causing him to pull his head back to look at the young man. His eyes gazing into the Toby’s as he tried explaining why he was not so little. Julien quickly brought a finger up to his lips, telling the boy to be quite. “With my age Toby, you are indeed little. Compared to me you are hardly an infant… I’ve lived quite a long time…and have had oh so many years to play.” He smiled at him once more, with his final words though he began to release the boy carefully so he would not fall to the ground in case he was still dizzy.
Stepping back to look Toby over once more. He was very appreciative of his new friend, or so he hoped they were, seeing as how positively the boy seemed to respond to Julien’s touches. He had been hoping to make some sort of new friend while in town. Possibly a new pupil, or maybe just someone to cause chaos with. With a vampire as young as he was though, that seemed slightly odd to do. The boy seemed hardly over a year or two old. Still untrained in the art of being a vampire. Leaning back against the metal fence his head tilting slightly. “Come here Toby… tell me how you became like this, please tell me your story if you will.” All the while motioning him closer with the move of a finger.

The man asked him whether he was enjoying the touch...was he? He shouldn't be. Before, if he could remember, he'd never much liked to be touched. He'd tense up when people tried to hug him, and back down and then go all quiet and shy. Now...he was leaning into the man's touch, and something in him definately seemed to like it, if the purring was anything to go by. And the way he was no leaning into the touch, something (the demon) calling for it. He hadn't had anything like that before.
"I can't help it," he said, a little sulkiness infecting his voice at the thought that it was just another thing he didn't understand. There were so many of those! Why couldn't everything just be a game, that would be easy. He understood games. The ones he made up anyway.
He didn't expect to be released, not so quickly, and something in him cried out at the loss. But why? This man was just a stranger, and he should be avoiding that, should not be letting himself get touched by someone random in an alley, but he'd...needed it. So apparantly he needed close contact with people as well as staying out of the sun he'd once enjoyed. He'd have to remember that. Remembering about the sun was quite hard, really, but he managed it in the end. Recently he'd managed to remember without burning any of his fingers, which was good.
The man was guesturing him to come close, but he didn't. Apparantly he was able to talk now, and he couldn't do that if he was purring stupidly at being touched, could he? And that seemed to happen when he got near him...so he stayed where he was. The ground was stable now, he didn't notice with a glance down. And not so hard on his feet. Shoes, he did need to get some shoes. Perhaps the man could find some...oh, he was talking to him again. He focussed, getting him mind back on track.
"I don't know," he replied honestly, "There was a man who bit me and said he'd be waiting, only then he shoved me underground. An' I woke up. That wasn't fun, you know, digging yourself out. Specially because I was in some sort of box." He was trailing off now, rambling slightly, bringing the fingers of one hand up to his demon-mouth and sucking on them absently, "An' then everyone was saying how I was dead, and how I shouldn't be there, and then there were humans and they smelt so good, and the sun burns. Why does the sun burn? Not burn in the sky, because I know that bit, but why does it burn me? I never did anything to it." Finally, it seemed, he could ask questions and possibly get answers.

When he released the boy, he seemed shocked, and somewhat needy. He looked as if the pain of not being touched was awful. Which caused a great big smile to spread across Julien’s face. He loved to make people feel good, and loved it even more when he caused them to crave it. This vampire seemed lost though, and playing with a broken toy was just no fun. As he tried to bring the boy to him he decided to stay where he was. It seemed better that way though as now he could suddenly find his voice. When he told Julien his story, it caused the vampire to feel something. What was that odd feeling? Could it be sympathy? No it wasn’t sympathy, could it have been sorrow? Hell no to that one. What was this odd feeling that was popping up into Julien’s head? Dear god it was starting to cause a migraine for the vampire, just to figure out the dam feeling. Putting his thoughts into the back of his head he tried listening to the young man’s story once again. It was almost pathetic, yet reminded him of a lost puppy. He just wanted to hold the man close and tell him everything would be alright. Which is exactly what he did. He jumped at the boy pulling him in close and tight. Speaking softly into his ear as if he was a small frail child. “Listen here. It is all going to be alright, okay Toby. I am going to answer all of your questions, I promise.” Leaning back he has a full grin spread across his face as he looked at the boy again. Setting the young man down, but grabbing his hand and pulling him along. When they reached the street he quickly pulled the boy off to the side and had him sit a while on a bench he found resting in the darkness. Looking at the young vampire he could tell he was confused, disoriented, and nothing was making sense. “Listen here Toby… I will be happy to answer your questions… all of them.” His face was stern and calm, he always did hate having to be like this, but the boy needed someone serious so he would play that card. How dull life could be if he had to stay like this forever. Trying to recall some of the questions Toby had had he began to speak “so Toby, I want you to remember everything I say okay, if you have to take notes… the man who bit you was your sire. He was a vampire, and because he bit you, you have become one as well Toby. The reason people thought you were dead, is because you are dead. As for that smell…. Well let’s just say those are your natural instincts kicking in. the blood of a human is delicious and if taught properly you will learn how to feed cleanly, and not make such a mess. Though I do have to admit that little amount of blood had been cute, and I did so love to lick it up.” His less controlled side was breaking through as he gave a wink to the young man and a devilish smile afterwards. “As for the sun Toby…do whatever you can to stay out of its rays. If you stay in it too long you will turn to dust, and that little one would not be good. So remember stay out of its rays…. Now Toby… are there any other questions you might have?” he gave a slight smile to the boy before pulling him under his arm so that Toby was resting on him, and Julien holding him in a protective manner. ((hope this is okay if not let me know and i can edit it ))

Toby barely had time to gather his thoughts together after his little rant (not a tantrum...he didn't have tantrums! Things breaking were not his fault if he got annoyed), before they had all gone again as he was wrapped up in strong arms again. And he didn't mind it. Just like he didn't mind being pulled along, whereas he had hated it before, because now he didn't feel alone. Like...he was with a big bunch of humans. He wasn't sure why he felt like that...didn't have a clue, in actual fact, but it was nice, and it didn't hurt, and it didn't make him feel hungry, and that was all that mattered.
He felt the bench hitting the back of his legs before he actually noticed he was sat down, his brain slightly mushy still. He...didn't really know how to describe it, really, but he didn't know how to describe a lot of things. But that hole, that empty feeling which had hurt and hurt and ould only go away when he was in a crowd of others seemed non-existant as long as he was being touched. He had to remember that.
Oh, the man was talking. Focus, Tobias... It wasn't easy. He was mainly concentrating on trying not to purr again, because that would be rather silly, because he didn't purr! Animals purred. He wasn't an animal, although...well, technically he was, but all humans were, weren't they? He frowned, shaking his head slightly to try to clear the thoughts rushing around, and focus back on that man. Second try.
He managed to listen to him this time. And it made sense, the words, they did. Up until the word 'vampire'...and that just made him laugh slightly. He wasn't a vampire. Vampire's didn't exist. They were in stories, nothing else. This man must think him a fool. Just because he...liked to bit people and drink, didn't make him a vampire...Did it? He cast his eyes upwards, frowning in thought as he once more tried to hang onto that loose thread, not even noticing as his face shifted back into his human form. He had to concentrate...this was important, he was sure of it.
Unfortunately, the fledgling had never been the best concentrator, and now he was watching the lightly swaying trees that were opposite him, and marvelling over the fact that he could hear every soyund being made by them. They looked easy to climb. He wanted to climb them suddenly, and would have moved to, except he didn't want to leave the arm around his shoulder. He turned his head, his gaze following the arm until it came to rest on the nice man's face, on Julien's face. The man who made him feel nice, and who he really should listen to. He managed to focus just then, again, in time to catch the any other questions part.
"Yes?" he ventured, hurridly backtracking through the already scrambled memories to figure out what to ask, "If a tree falls in a forest, and no one's around, does it make a sound?" Oh, wait...that was from thinking about those trees, wasn't it?

He couldn’t believe the boy had just asked that. Was he really dismissing the fact that Julien had just told him he was a vampire. Such a foolish young child, what in the world could he be thinking about at a time like this. Trying to follow his gaze he came to the trees. The palm trees slowly flowing in the breeze. The warm wind making the leaves blow and stir. The sound oh so clear in his ears as he focused in on the plant. And then he counted down. Three… two… one… boring. Moving his gaze back to the boy he tried to make him focus by using his hands to turn the man’s face to look at him.
He quickly got closer to the boy. both still sitting in the bench, but facing each other. Their faces merely inches apart. “try to focus my pet… otherwise I might get bored with you.” He gave a slow nuzzle into the boys neck and then pulled back to look at him again. “and that my friend would not be good… after all no one wants to play with a boring toy… now do they.” His eyes grew dark with those last words, such freezing cold emminated off of him. his eyes glaring deeper and deeper into the boy’s. then as quick as that frosty stare came, it left his eyes conveying warmth and pleasure.
Slowly rubbing the boys cheek softly. Affectionately caressing him, trying to keep the attention on him. “now Toby… don’t let your mind wander… you don’t want to become boring do you. Now Toby my young one…you need to learn these things… otherwise you could become a danger to yourself. And we do not want you my little blonde to get hurt.” A devious smile came about his face as he slowly put his forehead to toby’s and rubbed them together. then leaning back he tilted his head sideways and began to speak once more “as for the tree… how do we know said tree fell if no one is around to hear it fall? Eh young Toby maybe you should figure that out first.” Another brilliant smile as he turned back towards the water. Watching the waves of the ocean across the street move back and forth, crashing into the shore.

He looked faintly irritated, which wasn't good, and mentally Toby kicked himself for his inhability to listen. It wasn't even funny. He just couldn't concentrate on anything when there was something else around. He felt himself being turned towards the other man, so they were face to face, and he crinched slightly, expecting anger. But, well, there was a bit, but not much. in fact, it seemed to all go into Toby, all that anger when the man said he'd be a toy. No! He wasn't a toy! The demons had said he was a toy as well, and he hadn't liked that, so no. No no no.
He opened his mouth to say so, but then lost his voice, caught instead by the icy trap of this man's eyes. A shiver ran down him, then another, and then he cringed backwards, unused to being looked at like that. No, he didn't want the man to get bored of him...not if it meant more of that stare. But then it was just a memory, and Toby found his voice working well enough again.
"I'm not a toy!" he said, quite angrily, so that anger had tempered down slightly by fear from that stare... Scary. "Won't be anyone's toy, no!" No. No no, definately not, he wouldn't. He should leave. Yes. He wriggled slightly, as if to get up, but then...Ooooh...that was nice. Unknowingly, he started to purr again, leaning into the hands rubbing his face. He'd leave in a minute.
"No...but..but I'm not a toy. Don't want to burn. That hurts. And...well, that doesn't make sense. You know it's fallen because it's fallen. Are you a vampire?" The words were rambled, quite a bit rambled, and slightly indistinct due to the purr, and the way he was nuzzling against his hands. He did like to be touched. That should be easy to remember.

Toby began to try to escape. Julien held onto the boy. he didn’t want him to go. He liked having the company, and oh how he loved to make him squirm. Julien would find the buttons of this boy, both good and bad, and learn how to push them… and push them hard. Oh how much fun the pair could and would have if Julien had his way. Looking down and away from the boy he pouted. “I won’t hurt you… and I guess you don’t have to be a toy… would the nickname puppy work.” His grin came back and he was playfully kissing the boys neck and stroking his hair. “I need some sort of pet name to call you then, I mean I could just call you Toby… but that would be boring, don’t you think.” He quickly stopped his actions and brought his face back to the boy smiling a dark smile. He would mold this boy, and make him his pupil. Oh what a creation he could make.
When he started purring again, he knew he was doing a good job to keep his attention. He continued to rub the boys face, his cheeks so soft, and his hair such a delicate texture. “I promise you Toby I will never let you be anyone’s toy… though you will still play with me won’t you… oh how much fun we could have.” He cooed in the boy’s ear again, and slowly purred with the young man, matching his pitch and tone. The sound vibrating in his throat causing him to enjoy the feeling, and breaking out into laughter as he looked back over to the boy falling back into his seat with a large smile on his face. He kept his hands on the boys cheek continuing to rub his cheeks. Finding that he was suddenly nuzzling back. Oh what a surprise, he might just have found one of the boy’s week spots.
“Now Toby you really shouldn’t ramble. You could lose your train of thought.” He gave a quick laugh then turned back to the boy another devious smile as he continued his speech. “Oh I am sorry Toby… how did I hurt you… was it this.” He removed his hands from the boy’s cheeks giving a face of concern, though in reality he could care less, he just wanted to tease his new friend a little. “As for the tree… if you were not there, and no one is around how do you know it even fell though, for all you know the tree is perfectly still, perfectly standing?”
When the question about him being a vampire came up he quickly looked away. “you promise you won’t be afraid, my dearest new friend Toby. I would not want to scare you away…” slowly keeping an eye on the young boys expression using his peripheral vision he had a small smile on his face that was hidden. Quickly turning it into a frown he looked back. “Alright I will show you…” turning away once more he turned his face into his vampiric form looking back to the boy he tried to smile. “Yes Toby, I am a vampire, and so are you…. Can we still be friends my Toby.” He gave a innocent look as he turned back to his human face.

"But I'm not a puppy either..." Puppy. Was that even a name? Well, it was better than 'toy', that Toby had to admit. He hadn't liked being a toy before. Being a toy had hurt and been scary and confusing, and he still didn't understand why it had happened. But then Julien said he wouldn't hurt him, and the worry cleared up. Even as a human he'd been naive and trusting, and clearly, that hadn't changed. But he didn't want to believe he would get hurt again, because that made him afraid. And he didn't like being afraid. "Though...it's better than 'toy'..." he said, repeating his earlier thought outloud.
More touching. And kissing, kissing his neck. He had the faintest impression that he should be blushing, or pushing him away, but no heat was running to his face, and he didn't want to. Being touched was nice. It made him not feel alone, and he craved that feeling. Maybe all vampire's were like that. This one couldn't stop touching him.
Well, he'd thought he couldn't. But then he did, and he couldn't stop the whimper that escaped him at the lost. Noo...that had been nice! Why did all the nice things have to go? "No, no, you didn't hurt me, you didn't! Honest! Please..." What he was asking for, beyond being touched, he didn't know.
His mouth fell open unashamedably at the affirmitve answer, and then at the change in face. His face changed! He didn't know whether his was the same...but it still happened. He tentatively reached out with a hand to touch the ridges of bone, but then snapped his hand back towards him as if burned as the face turned back. "Are...are you a demon? You don't play like demons...do you?"

Julien laughed at his face. The boy looked so innocent, his eyes taking in each part of the boy’s recognition. He must be wondering if he looked the same. Well without mirrors a vampire often wonders how they look. It could get rather tedious without those marvelous inventions. When his face reverted back to normal the boys hand immediately jerked away. “Did I scare you love? you should know though…that this is how you look as well.” He slowly ran his fingers over the boys brow were he would change. He gave a quick smile again and then dropped his hand.
“As for me being a demon…. Well aren’t we all. Were hunted by a slayer… killer of demons… we feed off of humans, we hunt them, and we are dead…. We are not humans little one… we are vampires… but no my friend, we are, are own people. And we choose what we are… because sometimes it’s the humans who are the real demons.” He gave a dark smile as he looked at the boy, pulling him closer and closer as he spoke. He would show the boy the world of the vampires, he had decided on that. Of course Julien was never one for making vampires… no, no Julien did not like to sire the week humans. Finding them often too annoying to deal with. This vampire though needed help, and needed a sire, so he would give him one. He would show the child the way.
“as for me playing like one… I don’t know what you mean… what did they do to you my little one?” he pulled the boy closer still and slowly caressed his face, a worried look as he examined the boy. “I promise you that if we do play… you will enjoy it very much my pet… you would be purring so very loudly, and moaning as well.” He smirked and looked down at the kid, and gave a playful smile as well. That is of course until he smelled something.
That oh so familiar sent. It was daylight. Morning was coming and he knew that he should be heading home soon. “Dearest Toby…we need to go… the sun it is coming soon… and you remember what I told you right? that the sun can kill you… it will burn you up till your dust.” Standing up looking down at Toby on the bench, extending his hand out to the boy. “Would you like to come with me… would you like to come stay with me for the morning… I promise I will answer all your questions, and you are welcome to stay as long as you like.” A smirk went across his face as he waited for the boys reply.

"I do?" Toby raised his hands to his own face, running his fingers over where he had seen the ridges on the others. So he did look like that? That was...odd. Weren't vampire's just meant to have long fangs and turn into bats? That was what comics and books said, which he had read. He remembered reading one big gothic book after reading Dracula in school, because he'd thought the topic was interesting. The memory was boring, when he thought back over it. And not faded, just...not as clear as the world around him now was. "All vampire's? Even Dracula? Was Dracula real then, because I read the book and it was quite cool. But the film was rubbish. Didn't like that at all." He was rambling again...about vampires. Well...admittedly, he had rambled about worse topics.
"They brought me here. To this...place. Demons. Scary ones, who liked hurting in their games..." he trailed off, blinking and staring ahead at the thought, before rapidly shaking his head. Bad thoughts, bad. "But I got away, see! Got out the window. Stupid demons, they were." He held his hands out, showing off the bands around his wrists, almost proudly. They were a sign of how he'd gotten away, after all. Besides, the patterns on them were quite pretty, though it was annoying when they wouldn't come off.
He liked games. He liked playing, really, and would make games out of anything, because that was what he did to amuse himself. He was used to doing that when he couldn't go outside because the sun made him go ouch. So he grinned up at the taller vampire. "Fun ones? No hurty ones? I like playing."
Burn him? Burn him to dust? No, he didn't want to burn to dust. He knew the light burned, because burning hurt and sticking his hand in it had made it set on fire, but dust? No, that sounded painful, and he didn't want that. Didn't want that at all. He tilted his head, considering that. Well...where else would he go? He couldn't even tell that it was morning soon, although apparantly it was coming, and he believed him, because believing was an easy thing to do. He didn't have anywhere else to go. The only place he'd gone to was that club, and that had been after running away from the demons.
He paused for a moment later, before grinning, and jumping up, grabbing his hand and holding it tight, as though afraid he'd be left alone again. Which he was afraid of, admittedly. "Can I? I'll be good, and quiet...as long as I don't burn. Don't want to burn."
