Noah closed his eyes he sat on the edge of the docks, he looked up at the stars watching the glow of the moon, it was a full moon so beautiful in the night sky with the night grey clouds slowly floating over the moon. Noah closed his eyes and smiled feeling the wind blow against him, his long black scarf blew against him as he breathed in the cool air and felt relieved that he was away from the bullies, it was a friday night, he expected the popular jocks would probably be partying with skanky hoes. That sceenery was just not Noah's type of place.
Noah opened his eyes and looked at the sea [I am so lucky that my aunt lives two streets away from the beach...it lets me come here whenever I want.] He thought to himself. Noah thought about the scenery for a moment "the moon shines bright, in the endless light always leading the way. The stars surround the moon all night keeping the celestial body company through out the night. As I sit and ponder on the luminous....." Noah Groaned as he came to a mental block he laid on the wooden floorboards of the docks and sighed.
He watched the stars shine in magnificent glory. "As I sit and ponder on the luminous stars, the questions that entire my mind is so bizzare. Is there secrets in this universe that will ever be found." Noah paused and groaned "not again" he grumbled at a mental block, the teenager frowned. [I guess thats all i can come up with for now, I should just pace myself.] He thought to himself as he sat up and looked down at his reflection.
Noah swung his legs kicking the air softly, he sighed and thought his school life, and wondered if he would surivie it, the sounds of the wave crashing against the shores in the distance was nice and smooth. Noah sighed, and breathed in the fresh air and stretched his arms.

The beach. Why was he at the beach? At this time of the night? That was a rather good question, that Zane wasn't even sure he could answer at the moment. His head was full of thoughts, and unfortunately for him, being at home and studying just wasn't helping matters. He had told his parents he was going out, but this barely phazed them. They were never overprotective of him, usually letting him do what he wished freely, despite him never taking them up upon that offer. He was somewhat dating Aryanna, the first girl he had ever dated. If that wasn't reason enough to want to collect his thoughts, he didn't know what was. Then there was the nearly oh, dying part! And finding out that vampires and other knarly creatures infested Miami, and likely other places to. That trip to England was really beginning to sound better now.
Taking his shoes off, he began walking foward, closing his eyes with a slight smile as he felt the soft sand squeeze into his feet. It felt nice. Why didn't he come to the beach more often? Preston was usually up to the idea, but he hated the idea of coming when everyone was around. They all seemed to have a lot of fun, and he just wasn't interested in it. He was the type to just sit and relax at the beach, not play beach volleyball or any other physical activities. Even the water irked him slightly. He always had a distant fear for drowning, or being in deep water. He was fairly smart, and therefore could assume that he wouldn't like the idea of huge waves crashing down on him.
After a few moments of walking down the soft, crisp sand, he found his way to the docks. He stepped up onto the wooden floorboards, for the first time noticing that he wasn't alone. A young boy, looking about his age was also on the wooden floorboards, kicking his feet against the ground. Zane displayed a friendly smile. When he got closer, he felt like he had seen this boy before. "Uh...Hi there. Sorry for interrupting whatever you were up to, but have I seen you alround somewhere? I mean at school, as I don't really see anyone anywhere else." The friendly smile was still on his face. Maybe talking to a complete stranger about anything would be good for him, and help him take his mind off of things.

Noah continued to watch out to sea and tried to think about things to add onto that poem, he thought long and hard about what would work well. with the poem, he was so lost in his own thoughts Noah could not hear the footsteps on the wooden floorboards of the docks. Noah sighed. [I can't think of anything...which is a shame, because I would have enjoyed reciting something out along the beach it's a beautiful full moon the scenery, the poetry it would have been so epic to just feel the divine sensation of the atmospheric creation.] He thought to himself.
Noah heard someone speak, the boy leaned back and slid around to face him sitting, the teenager tilted his head surprised as he looked at the stranger with short brown tidy hair. The hair looked dark in this light. Noah picked himself up and smiled watching Zane casually, he thought about the question. He found it strange that he could run into someone from school at this time of the night. "I am not too sure, I only started at School two weeks ago, but you do have a familiar face....I think i have seen you around" he spoke quietly his voice was soft, and almost in a whisper from his timid ways. Noah walked towards Zane slowly and smiled "my name is Noah Lestrange....it's a pleasure to meet you" he spoke placing his hand out and waiting for Zane to shake it.
The teenager wondered who this stranger was, he was sure he saw him around the hallways once or twice to say the least, but he could not be sure. Noah stood there quietly wondering how much had this stranger seen or heard from him. The teenager blushed at the thought of anyone knowing he liked poetry it would have been so tragic.

So the boy was new to the school? That would make sense as to why Zane wasn't entirely sure if he recognized him from somewhere. Zane was fairly good with faces, as he was rather observant of everyone around him. Although many wouldn't be able to put a name to his face, or probably even a face to their memory, he was the opposite. Maybe because he was never too distracted by other people, allowing him to take in everyone who he saw pass by. Sometimes he hated how he knew who everyone was, when the chances were that they had no clue who he was, even by face or basically spelling out the class they were in.
He smiled at Noah appearing to recognize him too, unless he was just saying so to make Zane feel better. "At least I'm not appearing as the weird stalker dude who recognizes everyone...Thats me!" He chuckled softly. The boy got up and offered his hand, which Zane thought was a friendly gesture. It wasn't often that he met knew people and had them shaking his hand. Usually people would just brush him off. The only time people shook his hand was when he was with Preston and his 'cool' crowd. He didn't even know if they liked Zane, but at least they were friendly enough to shake his hand. It was likely only because they were known to Preston, not because they actually cared about who Zane was. Not many did.
His hand was soft, and smooth. Most would expect that from Zane, however working on cars for the majority of his teens has made his hands slightly rough and not as soft as they used to be. It was probably the only 'manly' thing about him. But he had a girlfriend now! Sort of...That classified as being a man, right? "I'm Zane. Nice to meet you Rowan." He smiled again softly, before loosening his grip from Noah's hand. Zane wasn't even that strong, despite having rough hands. Maybe he was, but he had never seen himself that way. He always saw that partaking in physical activity and sports were ways to become stronger. Who needs strength, when you only need to turn pages of books? Apparently in this town it was needed, with the things which lurked in the darkness.
"What brings you out here at this time? Taking it upon yourself to look about the city?" Although he did hate Miami in many ways, it was a rather excentric city. Especially the beach, which was what in his opinion made Miami.

Noah listened as Zane had called him Rowan, he frowned "my name is Noah....not Rowan." he spoke quietly with a smile. He could understand Zane's confusion it was late at night so he was probably quiet. The teenager let go of Zane's hand and slided his hand into his pocket and had his thumb sticking out, he listened to the wave crash against the sea and sighed quietly feeling relived.
Eventually he was asked why he was out so late. "I am a fan of the scenery, The beach the ocean...the way everything is so beautiful out here...the stars shine bright in it's radiance of light and the moon is up in the sky shining with it's light, the ocean winds bring that refreshing scent of life and it flares the nostrils. then there is the waves, the magnificent waves when it crashes onto the shore...if you watch hard enough you can see the particles of water break apart after the crash. It's all so inspiring and excitingg."
Noah closed his eyes for a moment as he took in the silence, before opening and remembering Zane was here "I am sincerely sorry, it seems I have forgotten I am not alone, I am sort of strange that way....it's not intentional honest." Noah spoke softly, he was hoping that Zane would not think he was a strangle little freak, it was bad enough that half the jocks wanted him taken down.

He inhaled softly as he looked at the boy with a innocent smile. "I'm so sorry...I have my head in the sand. Literally. Maybe you could pull it out, or something?" Since when was he one to forget names? He had so much on his mind, he had completely zoned out from everything. Of all names, why did it have to be Rowan? Why was Rowan on his mind, at all? He gathered it was because he was so shocked at how different Rowan had been lately, but he could never be sure. Why couldn't he have called Noah 'Arya' or something, at least that would've made more sense? But calling him a girl wouldn't be making him any 'lets be friends' points.
He listened to Noah go on about the scenary. He was right in many ways. Zane had found the waves of the ocean crashing against the rocks so relaxing, despite always being too scared to go in too deep. Just the fresh air of the beach made him feel alive and free. The soft sand against his feet, and the slow breeze drifting by, over his face and crashing into his hair. He hadn't even noticed that Noah had gone into a sort of daze, as Zane was doing rather the same. "Huh? Oh." He became slightly confused and startled. It seemed to be a trend for him on this night. "Its alright, I'll forget if you forget," he added with a smile, referring to calling Noah 'Rowan' before. Although he wanted Noah to forget, he also wanted to forget that embarrassing moment. Not just because of the awkwardness it put on Noah, but for the embarassment of thinking of Rowan.
He began to trap himself in yet another daze, not really sure what else to say to the boy. He didn't seem like much of a talker, showing he had something in common with Zane. Though Zane tended to be more outgoing around people he felt wouldn't judge him for the way he was. Noah seemed to be one of those people. After a few moments of silence and taking in the waves and the scent, he spoke again, this time glancing at the boy. "Its refreshing to meet someone who isn't superficial around here." He had met a few good people recently, however the majority of Miami was made up of the rich classes who felt they were better than everyone else. "Nice to see that some people just be themselves...Even if its different to other people."

Noah looked at zane and was confused, wondering what he meant by pulling the sand out of his head. The teenager smiled softly, he took a step towards the docks railing and climbed on to sit on it, he looked at Zane and wondered if there was something on his mind. The poor guy seemed to be confused about something. He eventually spoke about forgetting the moment if he forgot it. "Forget what?" Noah asked innocently with a smile on his face. The teenager looked the stars. He tilted his head and decided to wait for Zane to finish whatever it was he was thinking about.
Noah couldn't really say much on this xane seeing as how they had just met, he wondered what sort of things zane may have been interested in. The brown haired teenage smiled at the complement of Zane, by telling him he was not superficial. Noah grinned. "Thankyou" was all he could bring himself to muster up, Noah always found himself having the problem of communicating with others. He looked down and heard the rest of zane's comment about being an individual and not worry about the differnce that he had from others. "I am no different from those who are superficial, I too can be display emotional complexity & show little value, but it's one of things that makes me human." Noah spoke softly timidly, he was careful to sound as modest as possible, he did not want zane to think he was some self centered twit. The teenager heard Zane speak about individualism. He bit his lip [Is there really such a thing as idnividualism, if you look at it from a logical point of view you will see people are grouped by their likes & dislikes and mostly the common interest...How can you be different when your socializing with a group of people conforming.to blend in with them.......maybe I am missing something here, I should just keep my mouth shut, because I am pretty sure m missing my point.] The teenager remained quiet "Individualism is also something that's rare, we all immitate someone else and as a result end up loosing our true selves. " he spoke out quietly.

Noah was right about everyone being superficial at times. "Obviously you haven't met Paige yet...Then you might reconsider that." He chuckled softly. Paige was a real terror, and he didn't know anyone as superficial as her. Zane didn't consider himself a superficial person, because he had nothing to be superficial about. Noah seemed to be in a similar posistion as Zane was, and even Zane didn't see Noah as a superficial type person. He appeared to be rather friendly, and polite which was what Zane liked in people.
Zane nodded as Noah spoke of individualism. Zane was one of those people who remained true to himself, and usually didn't become someone he wasn't because of the things he had in life. He enjoyed being modest and different to others, but at the same time being different seemed to cause people to dislike him because of it. "Sometimes its easier to be superficial because you are accepted, but on the other hand you don't have any true friends, or your not remaining true to yourself. I don't think I'd ever like that...As weird as I am, weird me is who I am." He had a feeling Noah might feel a similar way to this. He seemed like the type who didn't try and be something he wasn't.
He walked over to the side of the wooden floorboard on the docks, glancing out into the sea. "Do you come here often? Its a nice place to just...Think." The sound of the waves was calming to say the least, and he was right. Talking to a stranger was helping his troubling thoughts drift away and help him take his mind off of everything.

Noah sat there quietly he heard Zane speak about not meeting page which was true, the truth was Noah kept to himself, he tried to blend in on his first day only to be proclaimed Bully Bait. since then it was trust no one and keep out of others way. Noah looked at Zane "I haven't met many people..I am not really good at socializing." he spoke honestly. Noah watched Zane, he Observed the teenager casually not being pervy or anything.
He listened as Zane explained that it was good to be superficial. "do you honestly believe that, to dumb yourself down to be shallow just to be accepted. The price for acceptance is just too high then...friendship should be non conditional, where your accepted just for all that you are. Not all that someone else expects you to be...but if one must pay that price for friendship, I would rather solitude, at least that way I would remain compromised, and true to my morals & values" Noah spoke he smiled innocently and listened as Zane asked another question. "I am always here, I come every night to these docks. just to take it all in, to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings." he spoke softly.
Noah stretched casually as he walked to the edge of the docks and stood there looking down "when i come here i get perspective, all my problems go away for a little while, and i am free to just relax and enjoy the tranquility of the scenery i am here...every night." he spoke just loud enough for Zane to hear.

Zane nodded his head with a simple smile towards Noah. Seemed they had more it common than he thought. Zane wasn't a big socialiser, but it wasn't because he was shy, he just liked to call it reserved. He didn't like bringing himself into drama and the frontline, he just preferred to stay in the background and take everything in and have everything flow nicely. He did however dislike talking to superficial people in general, which might explain why they would have the impression he was extremely quiet. He tried not to judge people, but when he saw people like Paige, it was rather difficult not to. "Thats something we have in common," he stated softly, with a slight chuckle following. "I like the quiet, and the peacefullness of it. For that reason I enjoy reading. And for that of course, I get called a nerd." It was rather an annoying fact, however there wasn't much he was able to do but either ignore it, or endure it and come out of it the other side strong and not taking it all to heart. Unfortunately for the sensitive Zane, that was difficult from time to time.
Noah was extremely right about fitting in and acceptance, and Zane felt the same way. "Fitting in is hard for people who don't always want to fit in, or just don't fit in with those people. Maybe if superficial people were more considerate of our feelings, or the lifestyles we choose, things might be more cohesive, however that never appears to happen, especially in Miami." Saying things like this was extremely easy, all he had to do was think of Paige, how she acted and there he had it; a superficial person to use as a description.
He glanced back at Noah, once again taking in the sound of the roaring waves, which just felt so relaxing. "It is a beautiful place. I used to come here often, but then just didn't, bad experience." He had nearly drowned when he was younger, and since then just couldn't bring himself to walk this beach again, as it brought back too many scary thoughts of what could've happened and what didn't. This was the reason he had a fear for deep water and swimming in waves, because he is scared he will have to endure that same drowning sensation. "I can't believe I've been drowning myself in books, when I should be here, taking in this quietness." No pun was definantly intended with the 'drowning in books.'

Noah was quiet he thought a lot about the situation he had found himself in, he had his black notebook tucked into the back of his pants, with his shirt keeping the book from falling out. He was quiet for a little longer he thought about the way things were going with socializing with Zane, he seemed to be Noah's type of person like they had an understanding. they seemed to share some of the same philosophy's. "Yes, it is something we have in common." Noah spoke softly. he thought about his stand and listened as Zane talk about liking the quiet. "Silence makes the world clearer, it allows us to commune with our own insight.. Think about it, if you read a in a classroom at school or during a movie, you will always have part of yourself devoted to the distraction this is just your body's way of keeping your senses alert and protecting you...but if you read alone in silence, your body relaxes because it is safe and you are able to feel yourself get swept away by the book, and when your swept away you loose your self just for a while and find your mind opening to the new possibilities that wouldn't have been there before hand." He spoke softly.
The teenager leaned back laying on the wooden floor boards and looked at the stars he thought about Zane's comment about fitting in "if being popular is so important is then you should ask yourself, why try fitting in at the price of your freedom when i was born to stand out." The teenager answered quietly ,he smiled "all that we are is that what we are, the superficial will not remain that way forever, eventually they will find themselves and evolve as human beings i guess you could say is they are on a detour to enlightenment." faith spoke
As faith looked up he glanced at Zane to see he looked worried, he listened to the bad experience "Don't take this the wrong way Zane...but as long as I am here...there is no need to worry about the bad experience, I will keep you safe...that is my way of friendship...value those who show kindness, protect those who deserve it. Appreciate friends, because they truly are a miracle." Faith added on he smiled, and looked at faith "as you can see this is pretty much why I am considered to be an oddball among our peers." he spoke with a laugh.
