Penelope walked down the beach barefoot. She had been wearing very expensive heels from Italy but she felt like a walk on the beach after traveling by, the thought made her sick, ship, but it was too difficult to walk in heels on the beach. Anyway, there was always another pair of expensive shoes to be had. She couldn't be seen walking along the beach carrying her shoes. How vulgar. So far this Miami place wasn't living up to it's night life reputation. A whole half hour and she hadn't even witnessed a good killing of the innocent. Obviously way over rated. But she couldn't leave now, not until she picked up some cash. And clothes.
She came to a pier and leaned against one of the wooden legs. The hotels all looked just about the same but it didn't matter. She could imagine their most expensive suite would suit her just fine. She just needed to seduce some old rich man into giving her his credit card information before she killed him and she would be set for a while. Long enough to take advantage of the stores and some nice fresh blood before moving on. Suddenly, she sensed more than saw someone walking down the beach. If her senses were still as good as they used to be, he was alone. Perfect, it would be her first kill in a while, she wanted it to be good. She pulled off her coat and leaned back on the wooden leg in just a pink, flowing mini dress cut very short in the front. The alcohol in his blood was pungent enough to smell from 20 feet away and that was when he noticed her standing there. He made a very crocked path towards her and crashed into the leg nearest which he quickly tried to pass off as suave lean. "Hey baby, What are you doing out here all alone at night," She could barely understand the words through the slurring, but it didn't matter.
"I should ask you the same question," She took a step toward the boy. He couldn't be more than 20. So naive. He opened his mouth to speak again but she put her finger to his lips. She leaned in closer until she was almost lip to lip with the boy. He pushed is face clumsily forward but she flinched back in revolution. Kiss a human, she would rather wear shoes from KMart. Her face changed from human to vampire, it didn't matter, he was too drunk to notice. She moved her mouth to his neck and felt his muscles contract into a smile before she bit into his tender, alcohol soaked veins. She held his twitching body against the wood until his arms fell limply to his sides and the last drops of blood were gone from his body, Normally she wouldn't have bothered to clean up after herself but the alcohol had given her a bit of buzz and the sight of the boys pathetic lifeless body was somehow annoying her now. She picked him up, bodies were much lighter when they didn't have any blood, and tossed him into the ocean. He would wash up eventually, but that was none of her concern. Now the night was young and she was feeling more than alive, it was time to have some real fun.
