Julien had arrived in town a few nights ago. He had been shocked by the lack of trouble that was brewing around the town. There was hardly any chaos at all. The vampires in this town were too busy among themselves to be doing anything. From what he had heard there had only been one attack on the public, and that it had failed. He didn’t care what they had tried to do, or who had stopped them. Just the fact that they hadn’t been able to pull something off caused the vampire to become bored. He had been hoping for so much more in this small town then a couple of vampires who didn’t know how to have fun and make a town cringe in fear. Oh gosh how Julien missed the old days, where villagers had no idea, and the vampires ruled with an iron fist. He had met so many strong and powerful men and woman in his time. All of which were vampires of course. He had met some powerful people who had been humans of course, but none of those people knew how to have fun with their pathetic lives. Those who had been vampires though had been ruthless, cruel, and had loved to play with the pathetic fragile creatures known as humans. Oh how they had so much fun in those days.
As he reminisced about his past he found himself walking down some of the darker alleys in town. He had been figuring out the layout of the city tonight. If he ever got into trouble he always liked to have an escape route. By exploring the whole layout of the city he would be able to come and go as he pleased, without worry of being caught or apprehended. How he loved to sneak around, it was so much more fun and would always get him where he wanted faster. As his thoughts continued to roam he accidentally found himself in a more public space then one of the alleys he had just been in. looking around he realized he was in some sort of shopping area. Maybe an outlet mall of some kind. Who would really know? Looking back and forth he finally saw a sign as to where he was. He was in a place called Miami Square. What an odd thing to call a place he thought. Making his way through the small crowds he watched the random people walk by with pleasure. It was such an odd thing to see. All of these people, happy and smiling. Having such a great time living their lives. All that would come to Julien’s mind though was the word pathetic. These fools would never know what true strength and power was. What kind of true happiness they could find. No they were content with their lives…they were toys to be played with, and broken if necessary.
His dark thoughts began to come to an end though. He smelled something familiar… something old, not as old as him, but old none the less. A vampire, one who Julien had met before. What a familiar scent who on earth could be here. He had met many a vampires in his time, though only the strong left impressions, only the strong Julien truly remembered. This one had been an especially fun one. His thoughts were filled with faces and names as he tried to sort through them all… that is until he saw who he was looking for. It was Logan, the Logan. Oh how long had it been since he had seen that cruel bastard. Oh how many good times they had had. As soon as he had seen the vampire he ran towards him and hugged him hard slowly snuggling into the younger vampire from behind, purring lightly. “OH Logan how long has it been…too long that’s right far, far too long.” He continued to hold the cold vampire. Holding him tight and snuggling up to the man not caring what the humans thought as they stared and whispered. This was how he treated all of his old friends after all.
