THE RISE OF A KING
THE FALL OF A QUEEN
• Manipulation is something Amelia lives off of. She loves to manipulate people, play with their minds and control them. Over the years she's become great at it.
• Observant - Amelia is slightly more observant then the average vampire. She notices and catches things that others might not. She doesn't get caught up in physical fights so she focuses her attention on hurting them any other way she can.
• Seduction is just one way she control's people, and over the years she's gotten very very good at it.
• Ambitious, Amelia dreams big and is always going after something in her life and she usually succeeds.
WEAKNESSES
• Greed, she doesn't share - ever. Amelia believes that she is entitled to everything and doesn't like giving up what she has.
• Competitive - her competitive nature often gets the best of her. Amelia just can't back down from a challenge.
• Fighting, she was just never good at it. Against humans its not as noticeable as it would be if she was in a fight with another immortal, her fighting techniques often come off awkward.
• Jealousy is a problem of hers, she always wants what everyone has. This was also a problem with her in past relationships and is one of the reasons she doesn't stick with the same person for too long.
• Losing - this goes along with her competitive nature, she just can't stand losing, if she loses at anything no matter what it is she won't give up till she gets, or wins what ever it is back.

i used to think you were the one
NOW I’M SICK OF THINKING ANYTHING AT ALL
PERSONALITY Amelia’s personality changed drastically when she was turned into a vampire (as was common with most vampires). Almost the completely opposite, some hidden traits of her personality soon became dominant. In result this turned her into a destructive, malevolent, manipulative monster. As a human she was quiet, reserved, obedient, helpful and an overall good person. That is not to say she didn’t have her faults, but she tried to overcome them, she was a very jealous person but didn’t always show it. She held grudges against those that had wronged her all her human life. She made sure they paid for it when she was turned into a vampire.
Innocence is a natural vibe she gives off; she’s small and pretty and looks like she would never hurt a fly as she looks up at you through her eyelashes with that sweet smile. You’d think she’s just like everyone else. Truth is she can be incredibly dangerous when she wants to be (and she often is). Sometimes she likes to play with her food before she drains it, her victims are often helpless people who fall for the innocent facade that she presents. Amelia always loved to put on a show, she has a love for dramatics. In past years she would lure people away from larger crowds by playing a damsel in distress role. This worked remarkably well, so well in fact that she used the same tactics time and time again. She is most definitely not a fighter, although she can handle her own pretty well in a fight (mostly due to her immortality and vampire abilities than actual skill). Amelia prefers to get her way through manipulation, lying and talking her way out of things. She will often try and get others to do her dirty work for her.
Amelia has a strong sense of self preservation; she cares about herself above all others. As long as she survives she couldn’t give a damn if everyone else around her was dead. She has no loyalty to anyone; it’s not in her nature. She could be travelling with the same person for years, become close with them but when it suited her she would drive a stake through their heart and think no more of it. This doesn’t mean she’s not capable of feeling anything for someone else; she just never cared enough to try and get close to anyone.

i'm in love with all your dangers, dangers
WE CAN LIVE FOREVER, I CAN BE YOUR FAVOURITE ANGEL
All throughout her life, Amelia was a huge social climber. She made sure she got in with the right people, and that they accepted her, she was sought after by many men in her life which made most of her friends and members of these social circles jealous of her and as a result she was rejected from most of these social circles. Amelia was to be married to a very wealthy man in London, England. His parents were long time friends of Amelia’s and their wedding date was set ever since she was born. Amelia didn’t mind, she always did what she was told. It was with an air of excitement and nervousness that she climbed into the carriage, off to meet her future husband for the first time. Amelia was to be married at eighteen; she had been eighteen for only two months when her parents decided it was time for the two to meet. The wedding was to take place a few days after this first meeting.
The carriage never made it to London; she never got to meet this prince charming because she died only hours before leaving her home. The carriage stopped in a town on the way to London to pick up a few things, a few things being a drink in the tavern. Amelia left her chaperones at the pub while she explored the town a little bit before leaving. The sun had just set when she was ready to make her way back to the pub and pick up her chaperones to continue the journey to London. Amelia had no doubt that they were still at the pub, the might have to stay in the town tonight if they were too inebriated.
The town was rather small, but Amelia had gotten herself lost. She didn’t realize how far she had gone from the pub. A man came up to her, sensing she was lost and asked if he could help her find her way. He was charming and good looking and she was hopelessly lost in this strange town. Amelia told him what she was looking for and he said with a kind smile that he knew exactly where it was and that he would show her if she would agree to follow him. She agreed to go with him almost instantly, not quite sure what compelled her to trust this man. He led her down several side streets, none of which she recognized. Amelia started to get sceptical about her decision to follow this man, but she did. Just when she opened her mouth to speak, about to tell him that she thinks they’re going the wrong way he turned around and his face had changed. She had barely enough time to realize or react to what was going on when he pushed her against a building; she let out a scream as he bit into her neck, losing consciousness quickly.
Amelia awoke in a dark enclosed space, thirsty, cold, empty, confused and had an unusual desire to kill. She wasn’t sure where she was but she knew there was no air and no way could air get in, but she had no need to breathe anymore. Amelia clawed her way out of the coffin, out of the earth and found herself in a graveyard with her name on the tombstone. The changes in her were evident the moment she finally reached the outside, she knew what she was, a vampire. She never believed all those silly horror stories about vampires and the undead, but now that she was one it certainly put things into perspective. She knew there was only one way to suppress this thirst, and she wasn’t nervous or scared or tried to control it. She wanted to kill and she knew she would enjoy it. Amelia’s first victim was an unfortunate man who happened to be walking by the cemetery at the wrong time. He was bigger than her but Amelia found that she overpowered him easily. She drained him dry and left him dead on the side walk, she felt stronger after that first taste of blood.
She remembers certain things in her human life, her parents, and her family, the women of the social circles that rejected her. These women were her next target, she sought them out murdered them, even tortured some. She killed every person that had ever wronged her in her life; this was some sort of closure for her. After killing almost everyone she once knew, Amelia wasted no time in getting out of that small town. She was moving on to bigger and better things, which took her back to London. Her years in London were where she learned the most about her new found immortality; she was left alone to fend for herself after she was sired. She wasn’t sure what she was or what was going on with her, but her instincts showed her what to do. Her hunting was sloppy; she left bodies everywhere and killed in a peculiar and savage way. In London she met up with two vampires who had found her intriguing. They had both been immortal for over two hundred years already and they took Amelia in, showed her how it was done properly. They showed her how to seduce humans, to get them to leave by themselves to be killed, they showed her how to find and kill them in the alley ways.
Amelia was not an incredibly skilled fighter, although she could hold her own in a fight which is more due to her vampire strengths then to actual skills. Rather than hunt for her blood and go looking for it, Amelia simply lets the humans come to her she’ll use a number of tactics to achieve this; seducing victims, using her looks, etc. She has always had a flair for dramatics and loves putting on a show for people, even if only to lure a few victims away to be killed. She would often pose as a scared, vulnerable and innocent girl in trouble of some sort, much like she was when she was human.
Amelia had travelled with many vampires and demons over the years, never staying with any of them for more than thirty years at a time. She found that they all died very easily, either by her own hands or someone else’s. She traveled the world; she didn’t like staying in one place for too long. But she and whatever immortals she was with at the time brought entire towns to their knees before slaughtering them all. It wasn’t long till vampire hunters were tracking her where ever she went. Amelia wasn’t exactly discreet with these killings, she has been off the radar for quite some time now, traveling by herself, killing at most three victims at a time. She had accomplished a lot in her short years as an immortal, but it still wasn’t good enough for her. She wanted to do something big that would get her in all the demon history books.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT She has no immediate plans for messing with the slayer or anyone else for that matter, but with Amelia’s love of dramatics, destruction and wanting to do something “big” to get her in all the history books she’s up for any plans. Against the slayer or to try and bring an apocalypse, maybe join the main group of big bads, who knows. But for now she’ll probably just cause a lot of problems for Miami.

The feast was great, as always. But what was even better then the food (as if there was such thing) was the announcement Dumbledore gave. The triwizard tournament, eternal glory. She was extremely disappointed to learn that only students seventeen and older were allowed to participate. If only she was seventeen already. Still she was excited to at least be watching the tournament. Everyone was talking about it in the great hall, even before the headmaster had finished talking.
From what she heard it sounded like a lot of people were planning on tricking this impartial judge. Perhaps if someone found a way to do it that worked she would try to trick the judge as well. Katie really wanted into that tournament.
In all the commotion and yelling of students trying to find each other and people talking excitedly in loud voices Katie had managed to slip out of the castle without being noticed. She wasn't the only one who had this idea either. She noticed some students in front of her giggling as they scurried out of view of the castle. Katie smiled as she walked down to the lake.
Hogwarts never changed. There were still people breaking rules left and right just for the fun of it. And she loved it. As Katie walked she took in the familiar sights of the grounds. She had missed the castle. It was sometimes strange going home for the summer when she was here all year long.
She finally stopped walking when she reached the lake and sat herself down by an old oak tree. She leaned back against the trunk of the tree admiring the reflection of the sky in the calm water of the lake. Every once in a while you could see a giant tentacle emerge from the water further away from shore and then disappear again. As she was watching this she started to worry that a teacher would come outside and check the grounds. There was quite a few people that had snuck out tonight for some reason.
