Julien walked up the dark path towards the house. Just a few days ago it had been Azazels home… now it was his… all his. He would rule this town. He would corrupt it from its center and then let the darkness spread outwards. He would make his new home and town a haven for vampires. Oh what a glorious town this would become. The humans would learn to quickly fear the night, and those too foolish to run will quickly learn what a human is meant for. Smiling to himself as he reached the big Victorian house he quickly made his way up the steps. The doors swinging wide open, his vampire pets opening it for him. Oh how he loved manual labor. It had so many fine uses. He would not look at them ignoring their wandering eyes. Their steely gazes either full of admiration, fear, or hate. Possibly even a combination of the three.
Looking around he could tell few people where home. his minions had gone out to play, and his deerest Penelope well she had to be away playing with some poor human, probably eating him alive at this very moment. Oh how she did love to eat a good snack. Laughing a little bit as he made his way towards the stair case, he could tell there was someone home though that he was very much looking forward to seeing again. He didn’t get to play with his puppy often. But when he did, oh how much fun the meak child could be. He was as strong and feisty as a slayer, yet more of a wild child then any demon the vampire had met before.
He was wearing a black pair of dress pants, a white dress shirt with rolled up sleeves to his elbows. He also had on a black vest. His shoes were left by the side of the door now his feet only dressed in a pair of black socks that went up to his knees. He loved the way the dress clothes fit him so nicely. As he made his way up the stair case and around the corner, Julien found himself in front of Azazels old room. Well now it was Julien’s, oh how that thought pleased the vampire. Unlocking and opening the door, Julien stepped into the room. He quickly removed his vest and unbuttoned his shirt part way, then looking in the corner of the room he smiled at the figure in the corner. “Hello my new friend… did you miss me today.” He gave a small smirk and then walked over to the figure kneeling down and slowly caressing the boys face.

Everything had been so transparent to him as of late. He was one place, then the next thing he knew, he was on the floor naked in front of a room full of vampires, and a blood stained table with no sacrifice. It made no sense to him. Nothing was making sense to him anymore. He didn't even know who he was, or what the reason for bringing him here was. He was treated as a house guest, but the door to the room he was sitting in the corner in had a lock on it. Was that to protect him, or to stop him from escaping? He didn't even see a need to escape. At least until he found out the complete truth behind his existance in this place.
He continued staring at the wall on the other side of the room, parallel to where he was sitting, before noticing footsteps outside. His gaze didn't avert however, still fixated on the plain, white wall. The door was soon open, and before he even bothered to look, he knew who was coming into the room. In his short time in the room, he had learned that it was Julien's room, and he didn't like anyone to come into his room, apart from Axel of course. Why did he allow him into his room only? Did he see him as too valuable to place elsewhere? This was just one of the many thoughts that Axel had no answers to. Maybe Julien did, as he was one of the reasons he was brought here. One of the only memories he had of this place, was of Julien wanting to keep him here, against the will of another vampire, who he didn't know.
He heard the sounds coming out of Julien's mouth, however didn't bother replying, only continuing to remain in deep thought, staring blankly at the wall, with slight frustration being shown on his face. He felt Julien caress his face, and he moved his head slightly to the side, showing annoyance. He paused in thought for a moment. "It used to be his...." He said, in relation to the ownership of the room. "Now it is yours." He stated, before finally turning away from the wall and looking up at Julien. "Did he suffer a barbaric end?" He would've ended him himself if he wasn't feeling so weak and fragile. He remembered having so much power and energy, however he was currently feeling like he had nothing. This did make him angry. If he didn't have power, he had no way to inflict violence.
He turned his head back to the wall, his hands now beginning to play with a dagger that he had in his hand. "I could stick this in your throat right now vampire," he stated boldly, his eyes now focused on the dagger in front of him. "Why don't I?" He added, now glancing up at the vampire. He had been craving violence since he was brought here. It was too dull and boring just remaining in this room, but it did allow him to engage in deep thought.

When the man turned away from his caress, Julien felt a sudden pang of anger. He had treated this boy so nicely. He had let him stay in his room, with Julien. He wanted to treat this man as if he were his own flesh and blood and protect him from any harm he might find himself in. Julien didn’t know why but he wanted to protect this man with every part of his lifeless corpse. He wanted to make sure he would be alright. In the beginning he was oh so fragile. Oh so meek and insecure. He could hardly speak when he first appeared. But oh boy had he appeared, naked… and in a giant puff of smoke he was like a vision. Oh how that image of his first appearance burned in his mind. He could see every detail of it clearly as if it was right before him. He could tell from the moment he appeared that this man could and no doubted would be a great ally.
When Axel turned back though his voice was cold and uncaring. This was often how he would reply. It was sometimes depressing how hurtful the boy could be… then again Julien didn’t really care how he acted. He kept a calm caring face on the whole time though. “Yes this did used to be his room… his home… his town… but now my young friend. It’s ours.” He continued to stay close to the boy unmoving. “As for did he suffer… well I tried my best to make him feel… but he’s been dead for so long it really didn’t matter. I let him burn though… oh so slowly… it was brilliant.” He giggled slightly as his eyes light up in passion.
That is when he notice the oh so shiny dagger. That brilliant piece of metal in his hands. He looked down at the sharp piece of weaponry and then stepped closer to the boy. Leaning in oh so closely the gap between them practically gone. he grabbed the dagger and brought it to his throat pressing it against his cold skin. “is that what you really want… Axel my deer is that what you really want. To end my life as a vampire, and dust me here and now. It won’t get you anywhere, and Penelope will be so angry at the mess you will make on the floor. so my pet… why don’t you dust me… do you perhaps have a crush on lil ol me.” He gave a small smirk and kissed the boys cheek and then leaned back winking lightly. “Come now… you don’t hate me that badly do you?” he asked sincerely.

At the encouragement that it was their town, Axel felt more empowered. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad, after all. The reason he was brought to this town, was for him to cause suffering and violence, so why not just go with it? It was definantly the appealing option, and he would have to possess great willpower to want to go against that. Violence was almost innate within his brain; it was like he was functioned that way. It was a natural instinct, or possibly even a learned instinct, which still felt natural to him, as it was him. If violence was what he was built for, then violence would be the result.
"Fire...It burns," he stated softly. "Keeps on burning, burning, burning until there is nothing left. Nothing but charcoal and rubble." He had experienced fires during his time, as it was something which was almost inevitable from the world he had come from. Darkness and fire were two central themes associated with where he was from. Even in this world, he could sense darkness, however it was a lot dimmer. There was more light in this world. It confused him as to how there could be such a shift between worlds, but he didn't press on it. After all, he had more important and valuable thoughts he needed to find the answers to. Something Julien would be useful for in time.
He felt Julien's strong hand grasp his own and manuover the dagger towards his throat. This vampire was rather adventurous, and he did enjoy that in many ways. He continued to look at the dagger pressed against the vampire's throat, as if in deep thought to a solution. "I don't know..." He stated once again softly, before withdrawing the dagger. "I hate...A lot of things. This place, for one. It smells like a cologne that an old man would wear, and the windows are too close. There is too much light..." The windows had curtains which were closed, however even in this near darkness, in the darkest corner of the room, it was still too light. At first he was blinded by everything around him. Even now he was, however it was slowly fading away with time. Time was a central theme right now, it appeared.
He felt Julien kiss his cheek softly. He didn't understand why Julien did it. It appeared to be a thing many vampires did, however they usually did it to the opposite sex. He was still confused about a lot of things, this being one of the main things. Julien also mentioned a crush, which did startle Axel. "Crushes are for the weak." He stated bluntly, before twisting the dagger, and handing Julien the handle side of the dagger, now eyeing Julien intensely. "I don't know what my place is in this Town...Room. I don't know..." He stated, confusion obvious in his voice now.

Julien laughs slightly at the dark tone of voice the boy began to pick up. “Why of course it does my deer Axel.” He said this with a wide smirk to the boy. “It does burn… hot and fast… sometimes it is even so hot it freezes us… as for charcoal and rubble no not always. Sometimes it leaves us with nothing more than dust… dust in the wind to be blown away at any given second. Or rather that’s usually what happens to us vampires. You on the other hand… would be harder to burn… and your skeleton, well that will never burn… it will never turn into dust… it will remain solid until something besides fire destroys it.” He was now slowly fiddling with his fingers having become bored with his own words if that’s something to say. Looking back up Julien gave a smile the boy a smile. “Sorry lost my train of thought for a little while.”
The daggers blade was cold now as he felt its mettle against his skin. He placed it there in confidence. Julien truly believed that the boy would not harm him. Otherwise the dagger would have been stolen and then removed from the game all together. The boys gaze seemed distant though. As if Axel was thinking some of the deepest thoughts in the world. As the dagger was removed though Julien had a bright smile on his face. “That’s it… I knew you wouldn’t hurt me. As for the things you hate well we can fix that quite easily. The room we can change, and I can’t say I approve of the smell either… though yours definitely is quite the delicacy if I do say so myself. It makes up for the awful odor of an old vampire.” Julien made a quick laugh before turning his head towards the window. “The windows do present a problem… you wouldn’t want to wake up to find me a pile of dust now would you.” Quickly standing up he made his way to near the windows. “I will have them boarded up… I promise you that they will no longer be a problem.” He quickly grabbed onto the thicker curtains and pulled them shut as well plunging the room into a deeper darkness.
“oh little one… crushes are for the strong as well. Crushes can be used, do not see them as a weakness but as something you can manipulate, and change. Change into something marvelous… something that you can bend and twist until the person who has a crush… snaps.” He started laughing wildly at his own words until he heard Axel’s voice spoke out again. “Oh my dear friend… your place in this town, and well my room that is something that is slightly complex. I can’t even pounder as to why you were brought here. As soon as I saw you though I knew you could be something special. I knew you had a powerful force behind you that would make you a strong ally. So really your place in this town well… that could be to rule by Penelope and mine’s side… to help us take over this land…” he gave a comforting look to the young man as he returned next to him.

He listened to what the vampire was saying, half zoning out into other thoughts also. One annoying think he noticed about vampires, they enjoyed rambling on about nothing, just to add emphasis. He was direct, straight to the point. Blunt, many would call it, but he never cared what people thought of his nature. For Axel, actions spoke much louder than words did, and his actions were more than enough to justify this. Why was there a need to talk, when he could easily beat someone senseless, and throw the exact same meaning foward? It wasn't like he was one to be afraid of what his actions could get him into, because he was more than capable of getting the job done. And the job would be done well, too.
Julien seemed rather confident that he wouldn't have shot the dagger through the vampire's throat then and there. Maybe he had reason to be, but if this vampire was to make one mistake, it was to underestimate Axel and trust that he won't do the opposite to what the vampire would be thinking. Axel was extremely unpredictable, which was one of the reasons he was so dangerous. He didn't trust anyone, and even if someone trusted him, they should be on the look out for him blindsiding them. There are very few people Axel could really trust, only then does his guard drop slightly. Its still present though, and read to strike at any given moment.
He watched as the vampire further closed the curtains, and even suggested getting rid of the windows. "Its not the room," he stated bluntly. "Its everything. This house, this town, everything. The people, even you. Everything is miscalculated, and I don't enjoy that." He was known to be a free spirit, and right now, he wasn't feeling that. Everything in this place stirred him, and just tempted him to commit violence. He wanted to be violent, not just because it was how he was structured and built, but because he enjoyed being that way. In simple terms, it was what got him off, and helped him sleep at night.
The words this vampire spoke did ring true, and make sense to him. He could mess with peoples minds, it could be fun. Crushes did help promote that. Maybe it was an ingredient he was missing, that this vampire could teach him. "Maybe..." He stated softly. "You have a crush on me though, I can see that. The way you touch me, its different than what I've been used to." He paused for a moment, again in deep thought. "I could do that, with someone. Trick their mind, make their will mine." This would be too easy. Human emotions were way too easy to work, even someone who wasn't human could act like one and manipulate them. Finally destroying them in time. Destroying someone physically was always fun, but mentally? A whole new battlefield.
He stood up now, rubbing his thumb along the vampires hand aggressively, yet slowly, whilst glaring at Julien's eyes. "This town is already under your control. People are weak, and easily destroyed. But that isn't the kind of fun I'm looking for. I am gathering I was brought here for a reason. There must be someone, or some people out there that could trigger excitement for me. I'd really like to meet them." He enjoyed a good fight, and a challenge, and if there was one out there he would be the first to jump at it.

Julien couldn’t help but smirk. “Observant little child aren’t you.” His words slightly sarcastic as he moved forward and wrapped his arms around the boy pulling him close. His eyes piercing through his prey. “Do no mistake crush with fascination. You intrigue me so very much… and who says I don’t like playing with my friends… it can be so enjoyable if you just relax.” He smirked widely as he closed the gap even further slightly resting his head on Axel’s shoulder looking up at him licking his lips hungrily. “If you tease me… or even worse try to use me though Axel do be warned of this.” He leaned in close to whisper in his ear. “My bite is a lot worse than my bark.” He couldn’t help but laugh a little bit and relaxed a bit as he put his head back on his shoulder.
His hand slowly slid down from the boy’s neck to his chest as he began to draw circles. “I can tell your going to be a fun one… but don’t try to fool me with flattery.” He pushed away from him laughing and went over to his bed sitting on it, and then laying back on it. “This town may be mine. But it is not without its threats. There is one such force that I will be needing your help on.” he looked back over to Axel sighing and sitting back up. “She’s known as the slayer… with the last one dead a new one will arise… but her friends are still quite active. They have recently been dusting my minions, and it’s pissing me off.” Quickly standing up he grabbed his head thinking of the annoyance. “You really can’t find good help now a days can you.”
His voice showing signs of annoyance and anger. Julien quickly began to pace the room as he rummaged through his thoughts. “Axel I will be needing you to help me with this threat. We will not go after her directly… no, no that would be far too easy.” His smile slowly coming back as a devious thought came over him. “We will be going after what is most precious to this girl… her friends, her family; I don’t really give a fuck what it is. Just as long as it crushes her spirit. Once that is done we can go after the girl… though we will have one other problem... a vampire unlike me or any other of my kind he has a soul. what a pathetic thought that is no? a vampire with a soul. he is going to be a hard problem to deal with. he is a strong force, and has even stronger allies. he will be another target to look after as well. so my young Axel...think you can handle that…” he looked back over to Axel a devious smile on his face as he thought of all the things he could do to the poor future slayer.

Axel was rather observant. Many might think that him remaining silent and focused was his way of being deep in thought, but they would also forget that he is observing everything around him, whether it is sounds, objects, expressions, everything. Even smells, which was evident by his dislike for the scent of the room. He did like the way Julien smelled...More comforting, and made him feel relaxed and at ease.
He smirked slightly when Julien wrapped his arms around him. There was no doubt Julien was strong, and if Axel really wanted to, he probably could break free of the grip. If he wanted to. He did enjoy the vampire taking charge, as that was the way he had grown up, having a vampire look after him, and care for him, in the best way a vampire could. He couldn't blame the vampire for being intrigued by him. At some points, even Axel himself was intrugued by the way he was built, and the uniqueness of his situation and abilities. There really was no one like him, and he couldn't be replaced, or even duplicated. The vampire was bound to be drawn to a weapon who could handle a vampire leading the way. He felt Julien's head rest on his shoulder. Julien was taller than Axel, but it didn't make the physicality of it awkward or complicated. "I'm a bit of a mystery," he commented with an evil slight smirk plastered onto his lips. No one really understood him. Maybe this vampire did.
He smirked at Julien's biting comment...Boy was this vampire about to be intrigued even further. He watched as the vamprie pushed him away and laid on the bed. When Julien mentioned needing his help, he instantly became interested. That confirmed that there were threats. Threats meant challengers, and a chance for Axel to inflict violence and pain. He smirked at this thought, watching Julien as he listed them. The most interesting, was the vampire slayer herself, who he had been warned about by vampires, and built to destroy, among other things. He was an anti-slayer, going against everything she was told to stand for by old men who knew nothing about the world and the power it contained. He did feel disheartened that she was already dead, as he would have enjoyed doing the honours himself. Then again, that stupid prophecy meant another would rise...Another to suffer a torment and painful death, this time at his hands, or Julien's. "I'm in," he stated instantly. The chance at destroying a slayer was epic, to say the least.
"She has friends?" He questioned softly. He didn't know what friends were, outside of vampires. He barely had anyone who he could truly relate to, and it was hard at times. "No problem, more fun for me." It was perfect. Hurting her friends would in turn weaken the slayer. And it also meant more deaths, which were not just random. Even torture, just to get at the slayer...Boy this would be fun. But what startled him the most, was the mention of a vampire helping her. He had never heard of a vampire fighting on the side of good, and in many ways it was pathetic. A soul? Even more pathetic. Its like caging a monster up, preventing them from being themselves and doing what they really wish. "His mine then. And his stooges." He would quickly kill the vampire's friends, then mess with the vampire's mind. "Then once thats done, the slayer is yours. Call her my gift to you, Julien." He smiled softly.
He was excited at the chance of finally inflicting pain, and getting out of this house. "But, one more thing, friend." He paused, walking closer to Julien, taking off the warm jacket he had on, and pulled the right side of his shirt over his shoulder, staring at Julien. "You said your bite was worse than your bark. Show me," he stated blunty, egging the vampire on almost. This would also create the perfect situation to first play with the goody too shoes vampire's head, or his friends. "If I am to truly gain the vampire friend's trust at first, before the kill, that is." He stated, though at the same time lying, as he did want to feel a vampire drain him.

Penelope walked lazily through the forest towards the house Julien had persuaded her to move into. She preferred the glamor and the room service of a luxury resort, but as there had been a nasty little incident with a bell hop turning up dead outside of her room. There was no physical evidence against her, of course, but Julien had talked her into moving somewhere less conspicuous so as not to ruin their plans. This house had a certain charm, though it wasn't anywhere near what she was used to. It vaguely reminded her of her past life; it annoyed her at times and made her happy at others, depending on her mood. In general, she was getting sick of this town. She had found Julien, that was true, a partner as wicked and twisted as herself. It was for him that she even stayed in this town, normally in this situation, with the slayer dead and no real challenges here, she would have been long gone by now. But she was amusing herself playing with the locals in the mean time and there was Axel.
She silently slipped into the house but instead of heading to her room on the first floor, she pulled off her trench coat and glided up the stairs. In her usual fashion, she wore very little, only a tiny pink dress, designer of course. She could hear them talking before she reached the top of the stairs. Of course Julien was with him; he had little pleasure in anything else of late. She couldn't understand the infatuation. He was an unusual being, that much was true, Penelope did find something intriguing in him. Not intriguing enough to keep him alive, as far as she was concerned, but Julien would never allow her to touch him. Still, she sensed that there was something powerful about this boy. He could prove to be useful in the long run.
The door was ajar when she reached the landing; they did not notice her presence at first. They scene that unfolded made her feel sick to her stomach. Julien about to bite the boy? She had practically begged him to be able to drain him dry and Julien had been the only thing stopping her. She hissed loudly as she entered the room and circled around behind Julien. She brought her lips close to his ear and whispered "Hello pet," before snapping her teeth loudly in a fake bite. She ran her fingers along his back before standing beside Axel and staring at him for a moment. She did not speak to him, only searched his eyes before moving to the bed and sitting on the edge of Julien's bed.

He couldn’t help but laugh loudly. This boy sure was a rebel. He wanted that fool Logan and his stooges. He clearly was planning on going after them. Wanting to make them suffer and feel pain. Mmm pain such a delicious thing to dish out. It could be so enjoyable. So tasty. So very, very powerful. Oh it could really make the world go round. This new boy was going to be quite the treat to have around. It was times like this that made him glad he made sure no one touched the poor thing when he got here. He could feel the power radiating from him. Sure it was weak at the moment, but once he got stronger he could no he would do so much more then sit in a room quietly.
“That slayer will be ours my friend. I am going to feed from her, and feel that last drop of life slip away. Oh how sweet it will be… but first we must play with her. Teach her what it truly means to feel pain. We will go one by one knocking on her little friend’s doors, and take them away. We will show her what it truly means to be alone. And once she is left empty without a single ally in sight, we will go after her… and she will then be ours my dearest Axel.” His mouth twisted into a wide smirk as he made his way around the boy circling him.
When he began taking his coat off though, he was doing something julien hadn’t suspected. A devious smile went across the vampires face as he pulled the boy in close. Keeping his hands around his waist making sure he could not move away. “So willing… this could lead to your downfall. I could drain you right here and now and you would never be able to stop me… I could bleed you dry with a single bite.” He was leaning in close and whispering in his ear slowly nibbling on the boy’s ear. That is of course until he picked up the familiar scent of one Penelope Murphy.
Shifting slowly away from the boy he stepped backwards eyeing him. a cruel smirk as he gazed up and down stopping at a very prominent vein on his neck which he could feel pumping full of blood. Oh how he would love to bite that devilish boy. But he would wait for a more private time during the evening. Not even turning his head as she entered he could sense her every move. And she was pissed. Or rather upset with the scene that was unfolding in front of her. A wide grin set on him as she moved closer “hello my little toy… I was wondering when you were going to be home. it was… getting early.” A wide grin set on his face as he watched her move over to Axel and stare him down. She had wanted to drink the boy dry from nearly the moment she met him. But Julien had stopped that. “Play nice you to or I will have to separate you both… and that would not be good… cus then I’d be lonely.” He gave a dry smirk as he walked over to Axel standing ever so close.
He watched Penelope sit quietly on his bed as he slowly nuzzled into the boy. “oh come now Penelope… he’s such a good toy… I do like the way he treats me…” turning quickly to him pulling him close by his shirt and licking his neck. “rough yet so gentle… it’s perfect.” He couldn’t help but laugh at the scene, oh the tension was sweet.

Julien spoke of how he would kill the slayer, and Axel couldn't help a smirk across his face. "Sounds perfect," he added softly. "I will enjoy watching that happen. The slayer may be a fun challenge in battle, with feats rivaling my own, however she isn't even worth ending by my own means. Yours is more...Tempting," he replied with a slight chuckle. "And what better way to end this story, then with the powerful vampire finally ending the pathetic slayer's life. Is it not what every slayer secretly craves, going into battle with vampires like yourself?"
When Julien zoomed in for the bite, Axel tilted his head, his eyes motionless as he awaited the bite, yet at the same time, his eyes were still wide open. Closing eyes during pain was a sign of being weak, and unable to endure the pain. He was able to endure it, pain was nothing to him. It just made him stronger. He trusted that it was in Julien's best interests to not just kill him now, and that he'd be more useful to be alive and by his side taking out the slayer and the vampire, and their friends. Julien was one of the most cunning vampires he had known, and he knew he was wise enough to easily recognize this fact.
He felt him nibbling on his ear, and he couldn't deny that he enjoyed it. He had never had much love as a child, or even as a teen, but this was making up for it; someone who cared for him, and wanted him. They were, however interrupted by Penelope. He sighed softly. He wasn't very fond of her, but only put up with her because Julien trusted her, and because she was seen as a worthy ally. In his honest opinion, she was only in the way, and the two of them could easily take on the slayer and the ensoulled vampire by themselves. Their friends weren't even worth mentioning, they weren't anything important.
He did sense some jealousy on Penelope's behalf, which he kind of enjoyed. Julien could do whatever he wanted with him, after all he had brought him up in this world, not so long ago. "I wasn't one to play nice, but I have a feeling she wouldn't complain," he stated with a coy smirk, before being pulled in by the shirt by Julien, causing him to grin evily. "No need to stop on her behalf," he added, turning to Penelope. She was a vampire after all, what did it matter if she was around? She was on their side.
