Why are we doing this again? Tobias was pretty sure that it had been mentioned at least once...maybe twice...but he couldnt remember. Apparantly..this was hunting. This wasnt hunting. He liked his sort of getting food, where the food came to him. There was nothing wrong with doing it that way! If humans came to him willingly, he didnt see any point in actually hunting them. Hunting them meant running after them, then hurting them and killing them, and while Toby didnt care in the slightest (and that had been slightly odd, that feeling when hed first realised), it was always nice to watch them run away smelling of fear, or for him to leave them stinking of arousal.
Besides...hed never really done hunting. It was intriguing...but judging by how the other vampires (the weak ones, not Julien, Julien wasnt weak) always argued and fought, hunting couldnt be that good. But no, here they were, trekking through the town, his form dutifully following after Juliens slightly taller one and resisting the urge to simply prod him in the back to see what he would do. And hunting. Urgh. Hed much prefer going to the park.
This was the fifth (sixth? One of the two...) alley theyd walked down, and there had been no humans. Just rubbish, one football (which hed had fun kicking around for a while) and a cat which had spat at them, but run away when hed hissed back. It was boring already, and they hadnt even found any humans yet...or maybe that was meant to be the point? You know...get bored of doing nothing, so when something came along, you did it better? He paused, considering that, before dismissing it. That was stupid logic. He got distracted too easily for that to work.
This is boring, he complained, pouting, Cant we get some dancing human, then go play? But really, he couldnt be too upset. Julien was spending time with him and not leaving him alone. That was a good thing.

Julien couldn’t help but laugh as the boy brought up the same old question. Most vampires, and humans alike would most likely get annoyed of the constant questions but Julien. No he was not ordinary nor normal, he liked having a bit of an odd side to the world. And that odd side came from Toby. The loveable young man was simply adorable and if he had been human he would have eaten him up within minutes. Luckily now he was a vampire though so he could keep him around and he would last longer. Such boyish charm was a gift to see around these days. And Toby was indeed a gift sent to Julien.
He could tell the young vampire was new to it all. He was inexperienced and slightly sloppy as they moved from alley to alley. They were in search of food, and that was it. But finding food could often be hard. Most vampires had to lurk around due to their well rather off putting appearance. Toby on the other hand though had quite and adorable appearance which seemed to suite him very fine as he could draw in almost any human with the slightest glance. Coming up behind him Julien slid his arms around the young boy’s waist from behind nibbling on his ear. “oh come now… don’t be bored, I was hoping you’d enjoy this little time together… after all I’ve been slightly busy as of late and haven’t seen you in a couple of days… I miss our time together…”
He gave a coy smile as he moved around to face him. “We could always head to a club… but then I wouldn’t be able to do stuff like that otherwise… we might get a couple of rude stares.” He laughed it off as he moved in closer again their foreheads meeting as he held the boy close and laughed.

Mentally, Toby was keening happily as soon as the arms went around him, but he refrained from doing that outloud. Just. That wasn't what vampire's did, he was sure of it. Vampire's were scary killers, according to Axel, not purrers. Though, he'd not mentioned that. Still, he couldn't help but press into the embrace, and a small sigh did escape from his lips as he did so, but no more than that. He couldn't really do that though, as the other vampire turned so he was stood in front of him. Then he blinked, latching onto one train of thought, and narrowing his eyes slightly.
"You haven't spent time with me in ages, no," he said, pouting, and bringing his hands up to rest on the other vampire's chest. He extended his fingers, stroking absently, before curving them into claw like structures, digging his nails in. He didn't want Julien to leave angrily after he spoke. "You forgot about me!" he accused, pouting further.
The effect was slightly ruined by the fact that they were suddenly pressed closer together. He blinked, looking straight up into the older vampire's eyes before opening his mouth to ask a question. "Why would that gain odd stares? It was nice!" Were humans like that? He couldn't remember. Of course, he'd never been interested in anything like that when he was human. But surely it was ok. Going to a club would mean getting fed sooner...but if that would be the case, getting stared at...he shook his head quickly. Staying here was fine. Even if it was...hunting. There'd been food, this was, probably, and even if there wasn't, spending time with Julien was worth it. Despite being cold, he always felt warm when close to him. It was very distracting on occasion.
