[Okay, this is THE thread for them! I don't know how detailed you want to go with this, but there is a mature board if you wish, see what you think? We are also assuming Zane went back to Arya's home after a night patrolling.]
Walking hand in hand with Aryanna, Zane smiled, feeling calm and collected, as they made their way to the doorstep of Arya's home. It was a beautiful house, though he had only been inside a couple of times, when he picked Arya up for school and they walked together. Other than the casual entering the door, he hadn't experienced the insides of her home. He was rather excited to be able to do so, though he wasn't one to rush things. However Arya had insisted on him coming back to her house, based on the fact that he had a nasty broise on his shoulder, caused from just another assault of the night. He found it cute that Arya wanted to play doctor with him, he couldn't deny that it wasn't a turn on. She was so beautiful and sweet.
He turned to Arya with a smile. "How come I'm always the one getting these nasty broises anyway? Just because I'm the 'muscle...' I didn't want to be the muscle, you know I'm more of a reader." He did have a rather good body if he judged himself, however that didn't necessarily make him strong, or a fighter...Especially when paired in a battle with a super strength blood-thirsty vampire! He did enjoy reading about them and helping in ways to kill them, but actually killing them? Lets just say he was still on his learners...Graduating to probationary vampire slaying liscence in.....Never! He just wasn't cut out for the slaying aspect of it...Unless of course he invented a ball of sunshine to kill many at once, or managed to aim a pencil levitation correctly.

Arya had never invited Zane into her entire house because in all honesty it bothered her when people met her family and knew about their status as rich, snobby assholes. Well mainly her father was the asshole, her mother was just a ditz that blocked out anything that didn't fit into her perfet world and her older sister was a complete bitch from hell. The only people she could stand in the house were her younger brother and twin younger sisters. All three of which loved Zane and always wanted to know when he was coming over again.
The only reason she was inviting him in tonight was because her parents were gone on a business trip and her older sister was out doing whatever it was that she did. Arya wasn't worried about her younger siblings bothering them either because they were over at a big birthday sleepover about two blocks away. Arya had already checked the place out and made sure they were safe before hand of course. Well hey, I'm a weak little girl, I couldn't be the brawn she laughed. None of them were really cut out to be the muscle except Preston but he was on a family vacation, an extended one.
After opening her front door she led him up the marble staircase to her bedroom. It was a larg room that contained a queen sized bed with a canopy, a white dresser with a mirror, some bookshelves and an attached bathroom and then of course her walk in closet. There were paintings and posters here and there as well as whatever decorations she had decided to put up recently. So what do you wanna do? We have a theatre room downstairs for movies, an indoor heated pool, a hot tub, a sauna room. I am kinda feeling a nice soak in the hot tub, relax after everything you know she replied with a smile and gave him a peck on the cheek before walking off to her closet.
Once inside she grabbed a cute zebra bikini that she had and started to put it on before she remembered that Zane didn't have shorts to wear. Digging around she found a pair of board shorts she had taken from her older brother and tossed them in Zane's direction Put those on she called from the closet. There was a mirror in her closet which made it easy for her to see that Zane wasn't the only bruised up one. She had some minor scrapes and bruises on random parts of her body, she looked like a bruised banana, it was depressing really. Once she was fully dressed in her bikini she walked out into her room and acted like she was modeling it for him with laugh. [/blockquote]

It was rather funny, that although Arya was the girl and weaker than them, that she was seen more as the 'brawn' over himself and Rowan. He was rather surprised Rowan wasn't seen as the brawn. He was the one who played football, and although football was different to fighting, it was a good start. He was rather fit as well, Zane could easily notice the difference between them when they were together. It was slightly intimidating at times, especially now that Rowan was his friend, and not just that person who spoke to him when he wanted something, or something along those lines anyway.
Arya had mentioned to him that her parents were out on a business trip, and her siblings were also out of the house. It definantly worked out well, if he said so himself. He liked her siblings though, they were rather fun and nice to be around. They treated Zane respectfully, and didn't judge him for being with Arya or anything. He had met her parents once, which was easily more intimidating than Rowan's muscular figure. Although they seemed nice, they did come over a bit snobby, looking at Zane as if he was undeserving of being with Arya. Maybe he was, but he thought that because he was one of the top in his year that would have to count for something, right? Apparently it didn't. Did they want one of those sporty, popular jerks to come home with Arya? Maybe she should've dated Rowan, not him.
He looked around in complete awe and amazement at the interior of her home. He knew she had a lot of money behind her, but it was so different seeing that money in practice. He glanced at Arya with a smile. "How does it work out that the snobby and rich Paige gets to boss everyone around, but the sweet and rich Arya isn't?" He teased, his smile turning to a smirk. He followed Arya through the house, when she suggested what to do. "I'm up for anything." There was so much to do in this place. He had nothing like this where he lived. What did he have? Oh, parents who lived their own lives and left him at the house, with nothing for him to do except read books, study or browse the net. If anything good came from the introduction of the supernatural, was that he was getting out more. As evident by the broise on his shoulder. Ouch.
A soak in the hot tub? That sounded really good. He definantly needed that moment to relax after the ordeal of the night. It was just funny that now that they had the slayer on their side again, things appeared so much easier. However judging by his broise, there was still a long road ahead. Being shoved into a gravestone wasn't exactly the way he wanted to spend his night. This was. With a smile, he put on the boardshorts when Arya was in the closet, before looking in surprise as Arya began modelling the zebra bikini. He was never one to be with girls or anything, but she was so fine. He was beginning to have all these feelings he thought were only kept for that hot french girl he remembered seeing down at the video store a few times. How did he manage to get a beauty like Arya?
He still had the feeling of the perk on his cheek, and moved up to Arya, this time pecking her on her lips softly. Wow. Although the two of them had kissed before, it just seemed different for some reason. More intense. Seductive? Oh dear.

Zane and her had never really been an intimate and touchy feely type couple. More often then not they spent their time reading together or watching movies. Lately all their time had been spent fighting and spending late nights in the graveyards of Miami, not exactly romantic by any means. Being here alone in her house was nice and different. Knowing that no one was home or would be home added a sort of daringness and desire to things. As she got closer to him he layed a peck on lips causing her to smile brighter.
Well come on then, I can hear the warm water calling my name she said in a sing song tone and walked towards the stairs with a little dance in her step. She was happy to be alone with Zane, they didn't get much time just the two of them. At his house his parents made things awkward, here her parents and siblings were always bothering them, at school there was too many people and teachers and during patrol Rowan or Christine were usualy present. This was a rarity for sure, time alone in a quiet house. Time to relax.
Glancing back once she got the bottom she waited for him to catch up before walking into door off of the entryway that lead to the indoor pool and hottub. The room was nice and toasty as she walked over to the hottub and turned on the jets. Before stepping in she grabbed two towels from a closet and then tossed in some moisturizing liquid and a scented contained that would slowly desolve and let off scent into the tub. The scent of tonight was fresh cut roses, one of her personal favorites. It was funny that the family had so many odd things considering they rarely used them, but Arya wasn't complaining she liked them. She stepped into the hottub and sat down in front of one of the jets waiting for Zane to join her. [/blockquote]

He smiled as she spoke, signalling for him to join her in the hot tub. He obliged, following behind in many ways like a kid in a candy store. This would be good for them. They deserved a chance to relax after everything they had to deal with lately, the loss of their friends and continuing to fight the good fight, which took a heavy toll on them physically and mentally. Maybe enjoying a nice relaxing spa session would help his muscles relax and not feel so tensed, and broised? His entire body was sore, however he had just learned to endure it. There wasn't much he could do but endure it and push foward, especially when lives depended on what they did. Things were looking up. Arya and Zane finally had their alone time, a chance to relax and enjoy eachother's company, rather than trying to simultaneously hold down a vampire while someone stakes it. It didn't always work out that easily, either. It just seemed like things were getting better, mainly because of the comfort in knowing that they had the new slayer, Elizabeth here to join them and help them slay the vampires. As she was the one chosen to do this, and had matched strength and durability with the vampires, it was definantly an added bonus. In many ways, it meant less physical trauma for them, and more chances for the two to focus on improving their magical abilities.
He watched as she hopped in the spa, admiring her beautiful body with a smile, before following her. The hot water felt so good against his skin. It was hot, however it was just what he needed at a time like this. Now in a sitting posistion, he carefully placed his hand against Arya's leg, wanting to be comforted by her body. He looked at her with a smile. "I'm glad things are beginning to work out for us. Everyone. It just seems like we can finally relax a bit, because I don't know how much longer I'd be able to play 'vampire hunter' before I became the hunted myself. Not really my idea of a good night out." He chuckled softly, before moving in closer to Arya, enjoying the hot jets shooting against his body. Who said heroes never have it good?

The hot tub felt amazing and was extremely relaxing on her battered body. For the first time she was glad her parents were rich, before this she had just thought that it made them even mroe stuck up and hard to get along with. At least now she could use the things they bought and never touched. It was like her parents only bought these things as a status symbol, they didn't care about actually using the object they just wanted to be able to say that they owned it. If their neighbors bought a new car then they bought one too, if the neighbors did some landscaping so did they. Her parents were nothing but status obsessed.
I never wanted you to come in my house cause I was embarassed by how status obsessed my parents are. It is ridiculous that they have to one up everyone and always have the latest and coolest things that come out. I mean it is nice having a new car to drive around but I would be just as happy without it. I hate how they act like they are so cool because they are rich, I guess that makes them better than anyone else she replied with a sigh and glanced over at him with a small smile. You know I am their greatest disappointment, they would have loved it if I had been like my sister. She is just like them, they think I am weird because I am into witchcraft and of course they were hoping I would date someone that was also like them. I hate my parents and sister so much, they make things impossible she said with a small furrow on her brow.
But enough about them. I just want to think about spending time with you she smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder before turning her face a little and nibbling at his neck. They didn't usually show affection with each other when they were in public but alone was a little bit of a different story. They had been together for a little while now and the shy stages were slowly coming to end, they were each getting a little more daring when in the privacy of their homes or rooms. After finally feeling the steamy-hot effects of entering the spa cool down, He felt more relaxed, which was shown by him closiung his eyes and enjoying the relaxing temperature, and the jets shooting against the muscles in his shoulders, and back. He had never experienced this kind of thing before, as he wasn't really one to have a hot tub, nor go to a place which had one. He had assumed it would just be like a swimming pool but hot, but boy was he wrong. It was a swimming pool with jets! Very strong, relaxing jets. He opened his eyes again, smiling at Arya cutely. He was really enjoying this night so far. Although the spa was extremely relaxing and part of the creation of such a surreal and enjoyable night, the main reason was because he was spending it with Arya, his girlfriend.
He nodded at Arya's description of her parents. "They are okay...Just a little Paige like. Are you sure Paige wasn't their child, as well?" He chuckled softly. But why was he even thinking of, or mentioning Paige? She had disappeared, on her cruise around the states. For all he cared, she could stay...All cruisey away from Miami. He would like that, and the way she used to diss Miami, he believed she would as well. A way to make everyone happy, he thought. "My parents are the same, anyway...Apart from the rather rich part. They expect so much of everyone, me being the 'high expectant' unfortunately." He never understood his parents motives or reasoning. They expected so much of him, yet they never really paid much attention to him or his welfare. Even when Arya had come over and met them, the introductions didn't last long, as they decided they were going out to a movie...Very convenient. Wouldn't most parents be estatic at the thought of Zane bringing home a girl for them? Apparently not.
Withcraft would be a difficult thing for her family to deal with. He honestly didn't know how his parents would cope, if they found out. It just seemed so...Sudden? He had found out this part about him, and then suddenly...Poof! His a majic mojo-ajojo! Well to be polite, he was a 'druid,' where saying anything other than that would've angered his ancestor, Jasper. He was one of the main people who disagreed with their relationship and did anything possible to try and drive them apart, or influence Zane against dating Arya. Who was a however-old ancestor to barge in from whatever place he came from, maybe wonderland, and lecture him on who he should and shouldn't date or affiliate with? Since finding out magic was in both of their bloods, it had rather brought them closer together, as they shared this bond..And experience together. They were able to hang out, study magic or even practice it. It really was an experience. Arya was good at the magics, and that really helped him pick it up quicker than he would on his own.
Smiling at his comment, and her head on his shoulder, he felt even more relaxed, before also feeling the nibble on his neck. He turned Arya's face softly, and kissed her on her lips for a few moments, before withdrawing and placing his arm around the bottle of her back. Although they hadn't always shown this kind of affection or adventurous nature towards eachother around people, tonight was another story. It was just them, in a normal situation with no supernatural gimmicks preventing them from enjoying themselves.

Arya smiled to herself when he took her face in his hands and kissed her back. It was nice to know that someone cared about her other than very few members of her family. Her and Zane had been through some tough times already but so far they were doing pretty good. They rarely fought and spent quite a bit of time together which helped them grow closer in feelings and friendship. Paige definitely would fit into this family better than me. You would get along great with brother Henry though, he stayed back in England to get his PhD in child care she replied with a smile. Her brother was probably the one person she looked up to the most.
It seems like these last few months have lasted years. I can't believe that it has only been six months since I moved here, seems like six years with everything that has been going on. I really didn't think that by moving here my life would change so much. I love it though, I miss England terribly but I like it here too. I feel like I fit in. But seriously vampire and demon fighting, deeper into magics, it is all pretty overwhelming she replied looking over at him to see his reaction to her statements. She knew he was feeling the stress of their situation too, they just never had the time to talk about it ever.
I am really glad I have you to turn to through all of this though she replied innertwining her hand with his under the water. It was always easier to deal with stressful and overwhelming situations when you had someone to turn to during the darkest times. Arya wasn't sure whether she had reached her darkest times or not, she was pretty sure not but who could call that. It was possible that her future could get worse but possible it could get better as well. The future was impossible to predict even with magic, things could always change. She couldn't help but wonder what these next couple of months would bring. [/blockquote]

He had heard many things about her brother Henry. Definantly good things, as he seemed to have a lot in common with Zane. Studying in England was an amazing experience, one Zane had been hoping to recieve sometime in the future. The school had presented scholarships of the sort, and if he played his cards right and continued to get top grades, he'd be on his way to England! Though he wasn't too sure how he would manage as a pom. Would he have to live on bagels and bangers? Great foods, especially bagels...But to survive on? He liked the simple things as well. Though to the British, he was positive that these foods were considered 'simple.' They were just so foreign.
He did want to meet Arya's brother, but as he was residing in England, it was difficult to achieve such a meeting. Maybe he would get the opportunity in the future? From what Arya had told him, he would be someone Zane would enjoy meeting and becoming friends with. He continued this thought until being stunned at how long Arya had been in Miami for, now. It was still amazing to him how fast the year had passed since they had begun fighting the supernatural forces. It was like the day wasn't long enough. With everything they needed to achieve, there was strong reason to feeling this way. Everything they did was never enough. Killing a few vampire grunts here and there wasn't going to turn the world into fairies and rainbows...There was still so much to achieve. He felt inspired by that thought, at the same time feeling intimidated at the task they have right now, and in the near future.
"It definantly is...I have only been learning the craft for a month or so now, and I'm no Harry Potter. But at the same time, its amazing how far I've progressed...It just seems so surreal how much my life has been thrown upside down. And not the upside down that I like, either. Our lives have been thrown upside down." There was no other way to describe the surreal nature that they had all experienced. Everything had occured so sudden. Things that would usually never occur in a lifetime, let alone years were occuring on a day-to-day basis. It was too much to handle at times, but he had Arya to fall back on, which was good. "I'm not the 'fall back on' kind of guy though....I fall back on others, but people falling back on me...That makes me scared. Then I'm expected to catch them and not let them fall...Me, all by myself. I don't know how I can do that?" When Gemma had fallen into a coma, it was definantly hard to continue on, as people were looking at him as 'watcher's apprentice,' who was no longer an apprentice. It was like the main guy had died and there was no one else to turn to except him. Dying was a strong word though, as Catherine had only returned to England. The hard reality was, however, that even if she died the situation they are currently in would be exactly the same as that predicament.
He hugged Arya, kissing her neck softly. "I'm glad you feel like you can fall back on me though. But if I was you, I wouldn't be falling back." He smirked softly. He had suddenly felt a strong desire for Arya, something he had never felt before, let alone for anyone else. He kissed her on her lips, closing his eyes in doing so, before opening them again. "I might hop out before I start looking like a vampire. Then you'd have to stake me," he stated with a coy smile. He wrapped the towel around his body, dying it slowly, befoore rubbing the towel over his head to dry his soaking wet hair.
