This was the first for him being out of Julien's manor. It was extremely bright, that was his most significant observation. He had to wear a pair of sunglasses, just because the light was blinding his eyes. After all, being cooped up in the dark for so long, and not being used to the light was bound to cause things like this occuring. He was from Australia, a place with hot sun, much hotter than this, however it would take some adjustments. After all, he was from another reality, or so it seemed that way. One reality was bound to be different from another. The only thing he missed about that reality, was that it was more depressing, and less happy. Though that made it all the more fun to destroy that. In time.
Entering the wooden door, he entered the Nexus Investigations office. He rubbed his arms as he walked in, noticing the chills passing over his body. Air conditioners...How he hated them. He took off his sunglasses, placing them in his pocket, before looking around curiously. This place was interesting, definantly a place he couldn't see a vampire working in, that was for sure. When Julien told him what Logan was up to, the vampire with a soul, he was more than thrilled to cause some trouble. If Logan was involved with the slayer in any way, he would destroy that link by destroying Logan. And hey, it was a workplace, meaning he had workers...Likely friends. More fun for Axel, he thought. Making them skirm might attract the vampire's attention.
He took off his jacket, revealing a vampire bite on his forearm. It was the perfect plan, which he lured Toby into, in order for this to work successfully. Julien was right. Don't just use brute force...Play with the humans minds. Even the vampire's mind was human-like, having a soul after all. He would be fun to mess with also. In time though. "Anybody here...?" He questioned in a tone which would be visible throughout the office. "Just a boy with a vampire bite...You know, requiring help.." He muttered to himself with a smirk.

He strolled down the familiar boulevard, dressed for the the warm weather in jeans and a t-shirt. Singlasses adorned his eyes. After having both a run in with Eliza and Logan, he felt that apparently the time for being off on the side was over. he was going to have to deal with them somtime and come to grips with what he'd done. So he walked through the front door, and saw the boy there with the vampire bite on his forearm.
His brain moved faster than his body on this one. The boy was there with a vampire bite but no visible fear, confusion, uncertainty. Nope a different look entirely, Owen's grifter sense was going off bad, but he calmed down. If this was genuine there was no good in him leaping to conclusions, if it wasn't giving away too much would rattle whoever this kid was
He then gave a slow but seemingly genuine smile, shifting casually his persona before saying in a surfer dude dialect, as he took off his sunglasses
"Dude, you startled me there for a minute. My names Terry, can I, like help you brah?"

He was relieved when someone finally answered his call and came through and greeted him. The customer service here was terrible...No wonder this city was in such peril and having people like Julien running the show. Maybe if they were focused, they might stand a chance. Hey, who was he kidding? They stood no chance, and were all going to suffer a painful and shameful death. Especially now that he was here, side by side with Julien, and intent on ruining the vampire known as Logan's life, starting with his friends. Shame he didn't have any family, family cries were always fun.
He raised an eyebrow at the man's accent. But then he remembered that he had to stay in character. He couldn't go drawing himself any attention, at least not until he was ready to unleash the pain. "I was told this was where the helpless come...So I just needed to come," he stated, trying his best to sound believeable, though in truth he was laughing inside. "I was attacked by something...My arm, has this bite and it won't go away. Its really sore...And I also have another.." He moved his shirt down, revealing a vampire bite on his neck. He stared at the man intently, focused on him directly. He was young, fairly attractive...Could be fun to throw around the room. But he had to remain patient, which was difficult considering he loved violence, and just the thought of what he could do with this man made him angsty.
He walked around the room slowly, before he finally put his warm jacket back on. It was something Julien had picked up for him, probably from a human he killed. He wasn't complaining though, it was a really nice jacket. Part of putting the jacket back on however, was to show that he was ashamed of showing the bites in public. "I am scared...I don't know what to do. I'm scared the thing will bite me again...This time I might not survive." He had to admit, although withstanding from knocking this weirdo's block off was rather difficult, playing this was rather fun. But it wouldn't be able to be kept up long, he knew that.

So far Logan had seen a good many things he had never seen before. A demon restaurant, a wierd green rock that made you into a revanent plauge spreader. However of the few things he knew was this
1) The Sun always set in the west 2) ...and vampires didn't leave humans alive unless they turned them.
So this was narrowing down the field considerably. This was either entirely bullshit or a vampire had snuck through one of the sewer tunnels that Logan had running through this office. He held up his hands and continued saying with his lacidsical dialect.
"Woah man, that's heavy, but don't worry one bit little dude. The boos man can help you out no problemo." he paused and then smiled a goofy smile " Well the boss man's not, like in right now. But if you stay here we can totally protect you from whatever nasty bump in the nights got you down man." he gave what appeared to be a reassuring smile as he walked over to the desk that many a temp had sat at and sat down and reached in a desk and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen.
"Hey man can i like get you name, is there anybody you want me to call?" he said keeping the dull witted and happy expression on his face, while his other hand slowly reached back in the drawer until he felt the long throwing knife that was hidden.
Good thing about Logan was that he was never unarmed. For once that came in handy.

He was barely listening to the man's words. He just wasn't interested anymore. The human kept rambling about the boss man, who he assumed as Logan. He didn't care whether the "boss man" was here, or not. If he wasn't, he was just going to come to work finding the body of this weird dude. Not only to get at Logan, but because the man was just plain annoying. He walked towards the desk, grabbing the pen and examining it. He finally begin writing on the parchment, before twisting it around so the man could read it. It was during this time he noticed his hand slid into the desk...Maybe Axel wasn't as good at this human thing as he thought he'd be.
The piece of paper wrote 'so how do you want to die?' When he knew the man would've read it, he smirked, looking up at the man intensely. "I wasn't sure if you still wanted my contact number? It might've been a good time to have that boss man on call...But don't think his gonna make it in time, do you?" Zane was still weak, and not at full force, but he knew he'd be able to take out this office grunt of Logan's. He had wished Logan had arrived himself, he was looking foward to meeting the ensouled vampire. Curious to see how he acts, was all. But until then, he guessed he'd have to just savour the ass kicking this man was going to recieve, just to give him that dose of violence.
Knowing that the man was soon going to draw something out of that drawer, he pushed the desk with his foot, sending it into one of the walls, preventing the man from quickly attacking him, not that it would matter anyway. He had enhanced senses, although weakened at the moment, he was more than confident that he could take out a human with ease. "Now I hope that was some more paper you were rummaging through the door for. I had planned on just beating you senseless, but if you have any toys for me to use, I'd be more than willing."

Owen kept the confused and bewildered look of an afraid office temp for a little while longer as he tighted his grip on the knife despite being pushed back against the wall. However finally he was finished with the act and simply gave a smirk and dropped his dialect
" Thank God, you finally dropped the act, becuase I was getting tired of this. Don't try and con a con artist kid. I've seen better acting in soap operas" He took an inhale in " Sadly, you don't smell like a vampire, which is unfortunate but that's for my own reasons. But your not exactly all there either."
"Now I get the feeling that you expected me to be afraid, but yeah that's not going to happen when your just a little hair gel short of a Saved By the Bell reunion. But to be honest kid, you couldn't even fool me. If you had been able to at least I would respect you. So unfortunatly, we're on to plan b."
He said calmly as he leaned his hand on the desk and put his own enhanced strangth into sending the desk flying back at the visitor, as he used his other hand to pull out the knife and held it as he said " Get the hell out, and I won't kick your little boy band ass, all over the room."

When the man changed his tone, Axel glanced at him with a smirk. "Very impressive. Here I was thinking I was going to unleash the big twist, but I think you're right, you really got me there." He chuckled softly, as he paced the room. "I must apologize for my bad acting...I'm kind of new at this human thing. I should've just sent my fist through your brains, but come on, theres really not much fun in that. I at least wanna see the pain and fear in your eyes." He was disappointed that there was no fear in his eyes, which he was hoping for, but at the same time it was intriguing and he made him want to make that happen. "I gotta say, you surprised me. For an office boy, you've got guts. But I'm guessing the boss man was at least smart enough to give you some tips. Wanna test them out, right now?"
Apparently he did, as he startled Axel by sending the desk straight back at Axel. Not expecting it at all, he was slammed into the wall, causing a thud. He pushed the desk away, looking at the man rather confused, yet impressed at the same time. He began holding his gut, pretending to be weakened. "Oh...Is this the part in the movie where I act all injured and can't go on?" He straightened himself, with a coy grin. "Unfortunately for you, this isn't one of those pathetic soap oprahs that you watch, because right here, and right now, I'm still going. 'The show must go on!' As they say. But I really don't see you lasting to the credits."
This man wasn't human, that was easily made obvious. Guess the souled vamp was smarter than he gave him credit for, adding another freak to the gang. "So...Nexus Investigations...What a cute name. Why didn't you just name it 'The Freakshow?' I bet I could think of a perfect catchphrase for it. So tell me, was that your boss's idea to name it that? Maybe sometime soon I could give him suggestions as to how to attract better company into the office. But judging by how this is already going, I think there won't be much of an office, when your body is coiled all over it."
He watched as the man got out a knife out of the desk, causing a smile on his expression. "Now now, what did I say about those toys? You only bring them out if you are willing to share." On that note, he quickly moved fast, kicking the knife out of his hand, and pinning him to the wall, with a smirk. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I would've preferred to be greeted with the pathetic one, himself. Your not exactly the most welcoming person...No wonder the crime rate in this city is so high. Maybe if you offered people some coffee, or tea...Maybe even a cupcake, things might have gone a bit smoother between us."
He threw the man to the floor, before picking up the dagger. "So, why don't you just save me the trouble of beating you senseless and tell me what you are? Maybe a vampire, one of his vampire friends? Souls going around?" He moved over to the window and opened the blinds, before grabbing the man and facing him to them. "Hmm...Guess not. Good for me, but bad for you, because it just won't be as easily as poofing into dust." He threw the man back to the ground, walking around the room casually, no care in the room. "Demon? Steroid man?" He chuckled softly.

Logan had been touring the sewers of Miami, he would like to say that he was tracking a demon but honestly he was keeping track of Eliza. It was broad daylight so the streets weren’t an option but he could make sure she was attending school, catching a glimpse of her occasionally he could see that she was happy. Or at least trying to be happy. He trailed through the sewers back to his office but he could smell something was off. He could smell perspiration in the air, it wasn’t like Owen was one to work out very often. He scratched his chin before slowly walking into the building.
He cautiously emerged from the hatch in his basement to hear the ruckus upstairs. He hears the crash of the desk against the wall and the angry tones of Owen arguing with, somebody. He doesn’t recognise the other voice. He gets a scent in the air, human, boy, teenage, there’s even some blood in the air, not demonic blood but human blood, maybe Owen had snapped. He walks to his weapons cabinet and picked up a Chinese broadsword. He slowly walks up the stairs and opens the door, emerging to see Owen on the floor as a young man walks around the room; he is still wearing sunglasses and looks although Owen hadn’t even landed a single hit it, he wasn't surprised.
“Welcome.” Logan said clearly making his presence known to the stranger in the room, ”If you wouldn’t mind telling me what the hell you are doing here.” he asked spinning the sword in his hand, the ribbon attached to the hilt moved almost of its own accord, leaving a shimmer of glitter in its wake. He held a strong fighting stance as he tried to figure out who or what the boy was.

"This isn't what it looks like." Owen said and then paused and said " Wait this is exactly what it looks like, sorry habit."
He remained on the ground though talking. " I'm not surre who the kid is but I've eliminated vampire and person of intelligence of the list. Decent stength, way too full of himself, and really bad at playing a vicitim...and a real mad on for meeting you."
He then shot out his leg to sweep the intruders from under him and then pulled himself up to a standing position. " If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure he planned on murdering me for you to find."He then stopped and paused almost as if there hadn't been a radom fightgoing on for the past few minutes as he turned back to the kid and said " You got anything else to add or are you going monlouge some more?"

Seeing the man he knew to be Logan brought a smirk to his face. The man was well built, and slightly pale...Though the other one was pale as well, but obviously wasn't a vampire. He glanced at the sword in Logan's hand with an intrigued smile, before turning to look at him properly when he spoke. "You know, I wasn't expecting much of a warm welcome. No comfy couches...Hell, your lapdog couldn't even offer me a coffee. I already told him that could help you get some more people coming into your office." He watched as the other man got to his feet, before going on. "Do you always welcome people with that kind of stance? And a sword in hand? I actually like your style. Might not be such the goody too shoes I heard you were."
He chuckled, before finally going on, as he walked closer to Logan, still pacing around the room. "You did surprise me. I was expecting you to be moaping in a corner about your past crimes, or something like that. Seems you're doing well for yourself." He walked closer to the vampire, eyeing him firecely. "You look like you want to attack me with that, or something? Why don't you just stab me? Right in the stomach. But I doubt you'd be able to live with yourself...You're like a dog with a collar, right now aren't you?" The smirk was still present on his face. He did enjoy stirring the pot, that was true.
At the vampire's final comment, he smirked once again, listening to the other man's description of his purpose. "Your assistant pretty much sums it up. I was hoping to see your face when you found him dead on the floor, but he doesn't seem like his death would even matter. Oh, right...My purpose. I'm here to take you out of the equation, my friend. Nothing personal, you know?" Unexpectedly the other man went to sweet Axel, catching him slightly off guard. He managed to sweet one of Axel's legs, however he managed to maintain a standing posistion, staggering him back slightly. "Guess he's got some game, after all."

Logan nodded as Owen gave him what he had discovered so far. He was intrigued why the boy wanted to meet him so badly, “Wait he wants to kill you to get to me? clearly he hasn’t done his research if he’s looking for ways to piss me off.”. He joked to Owen
“Most of my guests don’t come in with intent to kill,” he looked stoically at the young boy. ”But then most guests aren’t as unique as you are they? he said raising his eyebrows as the boy came closer, “Because I’ve been around a while, I’ve seen some stuff, done some stuff, seriously kid stuff you wouldn’t believe. It would blow your mind.” he says raising his eyebrows suggestively, ”But you’re new, I couldn’t tell what it was before there’s magic in your blood, not human but not a demon.” he said examining the boy closely, he was like a slayer. He gave off a similar scent to Eliza and Gemma. Even the slayers he had met in the past such as Lilly had given off a delicious aroma he couldn’t quite explain.
“I figure being proactive is more effective than crying and eating rats.” he said with a sly grin. The boy was cocky, it would be his downfall. He wondered what he meant by taking him out of the equation. “I could attack you, or you could go back to wherever you came from and give them a warning because you reek of decay and vampires, who clearly can’t come in here to do the dirty work themselves, you’re just their lackey right?” he said trying to provoke a reaction from the slayer, ”I don’t even know your name yet, you seem to know an awful lot about me.
Logan stood still, completely unmoving as Axel approached him, the fact he was being targeted was enough to let him know that he was a threat to whatever was happening in the city and that was all he needed to keep fighting. “You’re move kid.” Logan barked, his gruff voice rumbled through the room.

Owen laughed and said " Eh well can't blame him,he's new on the block clearly." he said in return as he continued the momentum and kept the patter going as he turned back to the intruder and said " Yeah I got plenty of game, kid but unlike Logan over here, who would hold a bunch of suspicious looking puppies at sword point." he paused and said " no offense." and then continued " I've stopped caring, what your doing has been done before and better. By this time last time I was bound and up and in a cave somewhere."
He then turned away from Axel and said to Logan " So I'll be back in five, gonna go make some popcorn. If you finish the boy band reject before then I'll split some with you." He then tossed a little wave to the kid and made his way past Logan.
While indeed he was little hungry he had a simpler motive, mainly the fact that there was a bigger weapon stash in the back, but after the last quickdraw scenario he figured, the guy would belive that he was retreating raher then rearming.

“Most of my guests don’t come in with intent to kill,”
"I should be treated as a VIP then, shouldn't I? Or doesn't that kind of thing happen around these parts? I mean, the great ensoulled vampire can barely keep his guests amused, let alone anyone else. I'm sure customer service improvements is a good place to begin...Get rid of a few tag-alongs." He smirked, grinning at Owen teasingly, before looking back at the vampire known as Logan. "But anyway, I wouldn't really be killing you, now would I? You're already dead...Its more like doing Death's dirty work." He wasn't usually one to follow that principle with vampires, but seeing as this one had a soul, and the fact that Julien had told him to go after him, it was another story altogether.
When he mentioned that Axel was unique, he proudly grinned back at the vampire. He was glad he was the different one in the bunch, because he knew that he was better than the others because of who he was and what he had become. "Just keeps the mystery strong, doesn't it?" The man said in response to Logan's assumptions of what he could be. "I gotta admit, I'm kinda disappointed with you now. I honestly thought you would've figured me out on the spot. I was told you were good like that." He was dropping subtle hints, which may or may not provoke a clue for Logan. He enjoyed teasing people, and keeping people's minds at bay.
"I reek of decay? Thats rather hippocritical of you, isn't it? And I'm just as human as the man down the street, in case you didn't realize. Don't believe me?" He pulled down the collar of his shirt, revealing a bite mark on his neck. "Why don't you just have a taste, and find out? Oh but you wouldn't do that...That would go against your morals, or whatever you ensouled vampires call them." He chuckled softly. It was almost like teasing a dog on a collar with a juicy, tender bone.
He couldn't help laughing at the lackey comment, moving around closer to Logan softly. "Nah, more like someone who hates being cooped up in warm houses. Never was one for the indoors, I honestly don't know how you can keep yourself in here." He then took a more serious face and tone, this time staring blankly at Logan. "But I'm no lackey. If I was described as the lackey, then you will stand no chance whatsoever. I know what the people out there are capable of, and what they will do to you if I don't do it first. See with me, I just want the kill...But them, they want more than that." Julien had gone on about torturing Logan, and even the devilish thoughts of taking away the soul of the vampire, and cementing him into sheer torment. Logan really didn't understand what was ahead for him.
He stared down Owen, seeing no humor in his comments. He felt like snapping his arm right then and there to shut him up, but all in due time. When he heard the door close behind him, he returned his gaze to the vampire, as he signalled for him to make a move. "This is gonna be fun..." He retorted with an amused face. He couldn't deny a fight, and a challenge at that. He was really interested in getting it on with the vampire. He charged towards the vampire with a kick to amputate the sword from his hand, before aiming a kick at the vampire's head.

Logan nodded to Owen as he exited the room, he was well aware that he was going to get more weapons but he hoped it wouldn’t come to that. He glanced at the young boy standing in the room, ”Interesting philosophy you have there. Doing death’s dirty work. I’m assuming you won’t stop with me though, I get the feeling you’ll kill others. Not just vampires, I can smell the blood on you. And you actually enjoy killing.” He was confused, the boy clearly had a soul yet he had an air of evil.
Even in Logan’s darkest days he was a merciless killer but the second he received his second soul he mourned every person he killed, killing in cold blood was something he couldn’t do now he had a soul. He wondered how the boy could function, maybe he was a sociopath. He looked him up and down as he got closer, he was clearly trying to intimidate the vampire but Logan was taller than him. ”Come on scrappy do your worst, take it slowly. I’d love to see what you consider torture.” Logan taunted his enemy with a cocky grin.
Logan felt the swift strike to his hand as he involuntarily tossed the blade to the ground, before he could react to the blade Axel’s foot struck him clean in the jaw. Logan was knocked through the air, his entire body twisted, the force knocked him to the ground. Maybe he was the real deal, but in all of his years he had never heard of a male slayer. He crawled to his feet slowly, the boy was as cocky as ever.
“You caught me off guard kid” Logan admitted as he cracked his neck followed by his knuckles. He pounced towards the antislayer like a tiger onto its prey. His vampire strength gave him an extra boost to his leap as he tackled Axel with a strong shoulder barge.

"I might stop, guess we'll never know until we find out for ourselves, right?" The smirk had reappeared on his face. Killing was in his blood, it was who he was, or at least who he had become. The vampire was right, he probably wouldn't stop because he did genuinely enjoy it. That, and the fact that he did have a rather long "to kill" list at the moment. Logan was coincidentally very high on that list, hence why he had shown his face here today. "Are you of all people going to give me a pep talk about enjoying to kill, and killing in general? I don't know whether to laugh at how pathetic that sounds, or just laugh at how pathetic you really are. And you can call yourself a vampire..? Heh...Whatever. I'm going to send you back to the hole you came from and do everyone a favour." This vampire was a waste of existence, and he definantly had no right to be telling Axel about killing.
"What I consider torture? See, I really do enjoy just physically beating the life out of people, but in your case, its just not enough and merely not the kind of satisfaction I'm after. You can feel relief in the fact that I don't want you dead. Yet. I want you to stay along for the ride, because first stop is the slayer's cute little pop squad of friends. Once they're through, I'll take out the slayer herself, then I'll come back for that office freak. Then once they are all out of the way, its you and me. But you know, I'm just not sure how you're gonna be able to fight, let alone cope after watching all those deaths, and knowing there wasn't one little thing you could do to stop it. Well, you could stake yourself...Won't save them, but will definantly take away the pain and suffering that you are about to endure."
He smirked as his shot connected with the vampire's jaw. However it wasn't long before the vampire had sprung foward, almost a little too quickly for his liking, and tackled him with his shoulder, sending him scrawling into one of the office cabinets near the window. He turned around, the smirk now gone, instead replaced with a serious expression and stance. "Guess that makes us even," he stated, now no expression plastered on his face. He walked around the room slowly, before picking up the katana Logan had been in possession of moments earlier. "Now, help me out there..." He stated, walking around Logan softly. "I'm not the best at this whole vampire slaying thing, so tell me...This won't kill you will it? I mean, if I stuck it in your heart, or lack of? But correct me if I'm wrong, decapitation will turn you into a pile of dust? I don't want to resort to such barbaric means, but under these circumstances..." He sprung foward aiming a slash towards Logan. Now that he knew how quick Logan was, he would need to be more careful.
