He couldn't believe it. Gemma was awake. When he had recieved the phone call from the hospital, he was wildly surprised. He had rushed some decent looking clothes together, and hurried to the hospital. The doctors had described her spring to life as a 'miracle,' and a landmark in medical research. She was the slayer after all, of course if anyone could break out of such a serious coma, she could. Although this surge of confidence was oozing through him, he couldn't shake off the bewildering emotions passing rapidly through his body. Gemma was awake. Gemma was alive. Everything was going to be fine now, he told himself all of that day. The gang was back together. Somehow, they had two slayers! Catherine would hear the news and would be back, and then everything would be how it should be. He hadn't been able to contact Catherine yet, however, so the anticipation of her long awaited arrival would have to be put on hold. All he could do now was celebrate in the fact that Gemma was with them once again.
She had seemed a bit odd, however, which was a given from recovering from a near death coma. Things had changed, and she needed time to adjust. It wasn't everyday someone woke up from a coma of such serious repucussions. However she was straight back into her game, as she gave him an idea that Zane just couldn't refuse. From her time in a coma, she had a prophetic dream about a spell which would locate the inner circle so that they could once and for all destroy them and restore order within Miami. It was a tough spell, and Zane wasn't even confident that he could handle it. He had asked Arya, who seemed more reluctant than he was. He wanted to do the spell though...A spell of such power...And if he could pull it off, he'd excell as a druid. He did want that, to be able to help the gang out more. And if this could help bring them to the doorstep of the big big bad, then it was worth it, no matter what the risks!
He had set everything up so far. He brought some runes he had studied from Jasper's possession, and would combine that with Arya's witchcraft to hopefully neutralize the spell and make it successful. He was also awaiting the appearence of Gemma, who shouldn't be too far behind. He was really looking foward to seeing Arya again. After the bond they shared, he felt they had become so much closer.

Gemma was awake, or so everyone was saying. Arya hadn't gone to the hospital or anything and hadn't gone to see Gemma since the miracle awakening but the jitter around school was that she was awake. Everyone was so excited, so thrilled. Arya hadn't gotten that close to Gemma and so her feelings were fairly neutral on the subject. She had gotten used to having Eliza around and really didn't see a need for Gemma anymore. It was a rude way of looking at it but it was her opinion and it wasn't like she was going around telling people that. On the outside she acted just as excited as everyone else.
Zane had called her earlier that day to ask her if she would help him out with a spell. Apparently the miracle slayer had had a prophetic dream whilst in her comatose state and it had told her to perform this spell. Arya was still skeptical and didn't think that her and Zane were even strong enough to pull it of. She had done some research on the spell and come to find out it was dark magic. Dark magic was something she had never tampered with, not that it didn't interest her, she just had never ventured past the boundaries of light magic. It just seemed odd to her that Gemma was suddenly wake up and request her and Zane to perform dark magic, it didn't seem like Gemma.
But who was she decide what was right and wrong. If Zane wanted to do this and wanted her help then she would give it her best shot assuming things went right. If things started to seem rocky and uneasy then she was walking away no questions asked. Dark magic could go very wrong and wasn't something to be tampered with lightly. This spell was bigger than her and Zane and she knew it, but did he? Regardless of all of this she had gotten dressed and ready and was no waiting for Zane on her front porch, she wasn't sure where the spell was to take place but figured he would know since he was the one keeping in touch with Gemma not her. Lilith walked down the street with a slight bounce in her step and her head held high. She hadn't felt this good in such a very long time. With her time resting in the hospital had regained her strength and with the addition of the slayers superior body she had more power then she had ever had. The power was intoxicating and almost thought of forgetting about her previous plan of opening the hell mouth and just destroying everything in her path. But while that would be wonderful it wouldn't be the true victory that opening the hell mouth would be. She wanted to go down in history as the bringer of the end for the human race. But first she would have to play nice with a druid and a witch. She held her aura back as much as she could. It was getting harder though. Her power and black aura was getting to the point that normal humans would sometimes look at her and back up without even knowing why. The druid and the witch would set the real game in motion without even knowing it. Everything up to this point was just a test and preparing. She couldn't get the real game started without them as much as it irked her. A demon could not break the first seal on the hell mouth. It had to be a good person. It was very difficult the first time around but in this era people were so silly as to not see evil when it was looking them in the eye. The fact that the druid was a friend to the body she now inhabited was a lucky turn of events but she did worry a little about the witch. She might be able to see something odd about her. Ether way the spell would be finished tonight. She walked up to door and rang the door bell. Putting on a smile and preparing herself to play the part of Gemma, A post-coma slayer and Zane's friend. This would be fun. After tonight the real fun and games would start.

He was walking around the room softly, aimlessly awaiting the arrival of his two friends. He didn't want to bring the other slayerettes into this, as it was easier when there were less people present when the spell takes place. Too many auras tend to mess up the instructions of the spell, and any sudden movement can cause bad consequences. Especially for a spell of this magnitude. It was bigger than anything he had ever attempted, with or without Arya, however Gemma felt confident that they would be able to successfully do the spell. He did feel comfort in his friend's confidence in him, however at the same time, he felt like it was too much confidence in him. He didn't like people putting a lot of confidence in him, because there was the strong chance of him messing up the spell and letting down his friends.
He knew what was involved for this spell; dark magic. But it made sense, as dark magic was powerful, and since Gemma did have some demon essence within her, it also made sense that the spell she learnt in her prophetic dream would have the dark mojo involved. He was scared, as this was uncharted territory, but at the same time it was something new, a chance to develop his powers. However it was the consequences which continually circled his mind when thinking about this spell and what was involved. Doing this spell made him slightly bad...Naughty? It was like cheating on a test! He couldn't do that. Arya had tried to tell him that dark magic was a no no, and she was right, but he had to help his friend. He needed to be useful in some way shape or form.
Seeing Arya on his doorstep, he smirked and jogged over to the door, opening it and planing a cosy hug on his girlfriend. It did feel nice to be able to touch her body again, however it did bring back the memories of their previous night together. Good thoughts, nethertheless. Erotic thoughts. "Glad to see you here," he stated, with slight reassurance that what they were doing was the right thing to do. At the same time, he was worried Arya wouldn't come because of the repucussions of what they were to do. Just hugging Arya though, he knew that they were safe together and protected by eachother. He knew she felt that way too. He walked her inside, showing her the preparations for the spell. Not long after that, he heard a knock at the door, and once again jogged over to the door, unsurprisingly greeting Gemma. "Wow, you look less pale. Guess the sun is doing wonders. Come in," he said with a grin.

It wasn't long before Zane let her into his home and greeted her with a hug. She smiled brightly and hugged him back tightly. They had been pretty close lately especially since everything had happened. But there was the possibility that Gemma coming back could tear them apart. It wasn't a thought that was in the front of her mind but it lingered in the backdrop of her consciousness. Zane was different when Gemma became invovled and it wasn't a different that Arya enojyed. She was dealing with it though, hoping it would pass as the shock of Gemma coming back wore off.
Gemma and Arya had never been close and so when the girl showed up at the door Arya walked into the room to look around at what Zane had already set up. He had all of the ingredients lined up on a table and the furniture of the room had been pushed aside for the most part. She knew the gist of the spell but would make Gemma go over things again before starting anything. Zane was all about helping his friend and Arya was only doing it to help Zane. It was like a little circle of helping, except that Arya got the feeling that Gemma wasn't interested in helping anyone right now.
She couldn't explain or quite place it but she had a feeling that Gemma was not the same person she had been before the comatose. Her aura was jumpy, even Arya could feel that but things were out of wack in the entire city so she didn't want to jump to conclusions. She was keeping her eye on Gemma though and if anything seemed really out of normal for the girl then questions were going to start flowing. When Gemma and Zane entered the room Arya glanced up at Gemma and said So what exactly are we doing again? I just want one more run through before we start. [/center][/blockquote]

She walked inside when Zane opened the door to greet her. She gave him a big hug knowing that is what Gemma would have done. She sensed the witch around and continued to hide her power. She wasn't a threat by herself but she instinctively wary of her. Unconsciously knowing that they could imprison her again. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Arya's small frown when she hugged Zane. Ohhh ... she was a little jealous huh. That could be interesting.
She was glad when Arya got right down to business. She really didn't want to have to pretend for very long. The thought of making nice all night gave made her shudder. "Well. In essence there is a magic seal on the hell mouth. It has been getting weaker and weaker and it is the reason why there have been so much bad stuff going on around here. What needs to happen is it needs to be destroyed so that it can be recreated. It can't be made new without the corrupted one being gone. If it isn't made new it will opened from the other side of mouth and that would just be .... unpleasant" She held out a few pages with the spell written on it. "I just know you two can do this." She kept her face pleasant and trying not to give away any of her true emotions. Looking at the situation Zane was oblivious to anything amiss, to blinded by his emotions seeing his friend again. Arya was a different story. Arya was suspicious and while she wasn't really a threat by herself she wanted the spell done tonight.
Continuing her smile she could just hope that everything would go smoothly. Of coarse if not she could always go the other route and force the two to do what she wanted by other means.
