For now, because she hadn't yet been assigned a watcher, it was easier to just train on her own. It had been maybe a week since she had found out that she had received the calling and was no expected to take over as the slayer. It had been hard not to stay mad at Logan for not telling her but then again she could understand why he hadn't. Slayers were notorious for living very rough lives, full of fighting and danger, and in general didn't make it to their twenty first birthdays. She knew the deal, she had learned it as a young child while being trained for exactly this. Now at least her training really wasn't going to go to waste and unlike the slayer before her she had a lot of technique under her belt. Maybe it would give her an edge but even the most skilled slayers could be killed with one wrong fight. It was good to keep that in mind because getting cocky would get her killed.
Until the council sent her a watcher she had been working on her own training and getting some help from Logan when she could. Her body was already in prime shape from years and years of training and fighting but now she needed to be better than her best and she was determined to be. Today her chosen training spot was at the playground because the play sets had bars and balance beams to practice on and big open field. Gymnastics was her chosen style for the day as it was the one she spent the least time doing yet it was still something that came in handy during battle. The flips and spins and flexibility were all a plus.
Wearing a pair of black capri leggings and a black, a black and pink sports bra, some black running shoes and her hair up in a messy bun she looked the part for sure. Attracting attention at times but she didn't really care or notice for that matter. After running around the field for a good twenty minutes she stopped and sat on the ground to stretch out all her muscles before standing back up and heading to the bars. She started out by doing some full giants and moved on to simple hand changes and flips. It was easy and natural to her, some might thing she was a born gymnast but contrary to that she was a born fighter. [/blockquote]

Following and listening to the flow of energy around the city was an interesting experience for Lilith. Everything was so different since the last time she walked the earth. People in cages of metal on wheels flew past her and couldn't help but turn as they passed her. Trying to relax herself and to act like the mortals on the street with her. Hating the fact that she couldn't be herself in all her terrible glory but that would be getting ahead of herself. She had been patient for more then 2000 years. What was a few months longer. No...for now she would have to be quite. The surge of power at her awakening would have been hard to miss. While many would rejoice at her return there were sure to be those who would try to stop her before she fully came into her power.
Lost in her thoughts she almost missed it. Coming to a stop instantly when she felt the subtle power signature that Lilith would never forget if she lived till the very end of time. One word escaped her lips "Slayer....". Knowing she shouldn't tempt fate but unable to stop herself from going forward into the park. It took most of the walk toward the girl to push down the rage.
Lilith stood there and watched the girl for several minutes. Lost in memory's of the last time she met someone from the cursed line of slayers. When she underestimated the girl. That .... child... outsmarted me. She fought well, but even she didn't have a hope of defeating Lilith and she knew it. So she cheated...Lilith couldn't keep her eyes from changing in her rage. When she dealt the fatal blow skewering the slayer on her sword but the slayer held on to her. With the slayers blood drenching her the witches emerged from the dark. Using the blood of the slayer in a spell even older then herself they sealed her away.
Slowly gaining control of herself her eyes change back to there pale blue color. "That was then. This girl isn't Gwen. She is just a child. Unable to help herself Lilith walks toward this girl that pretends to call herself a slayer. Keeping her power hidden and her true feelings from showing on her face. Looking closer at the girl Hopes memory spills into her head. Now having her name this will be allot more fun. Little helpless Hope was a good mask. Anyone that knew her wouldn't suspect the evil underneath.
"Wow. are you a gymnast or something? No...that cant be right. The look on your face and the potential violence in your moves gives you away you know. Yes. I can tell. You are a fighter of some sort." Looking up into her face with a grin. "If you want I can give you a better work out. I hate to tell you but you look like you need it. A little....tired looking." All the while smiling sweetly at Elisa despite the condescending tone of her voice. Every part of Lilith wanted toy with this new slayer. It would be to dramatic to kill her this early in the game. If the slayer wants to train. Who was Lilith to deny her a workout the likes she will never forget.

Just as she was about to throw her landing she heard someone approach her. Determined to stick her landing though she blocked out the person for a moment and at the peak of her spin let the bar go and did a full twist before landing lightly on her feet. The person that had thrown her concentration was a small blonde girl, a little shorter than her and fairly skinny. Probably her age or a little older, it was hard to tell with people around the same age. She looked sweet and innocent but something about the way she spoke, the tone of her voice, didn't seem so sweet.
Not wanting to come across as completely rude but also not liking how invasive this unknown girl seemed to be Eliza put on a light smile. Well technically I can be called a gymnast as I train like one, but I have also trained in martial arts of all kinds and some sorts of dance since I was younger. It is just a passion of mine, I enjoy pushing my body to the limits and seeming what it can do. My mother was an avid gymnast and my father was a mixed martial arts fighter, so I was kind of raised around it she replied making the lie so convincing that anyone would believe it. It wasn't unbelievable, not many people knew her real past and you couldn't guess it from just looking at her.
Becoming the slayer had given her an even better sense of people than she had had before. Naturally good at reading people, her sense were even keener. She could sense something off in this girl, but what she didn't know. Something was amiss though and Eliza decided to tread carefully. When she had been just herself there had been nothing to worry about but now there were creatures and other things seeking her out because they could sense she was the slayer. It was rare that she went out alone and even rarer that Logan let her out without his guidance, he worried about her and she understood that.
I don't want to seem rude but I generally train alone, kind of a habit I suppose. I grew up an only child so learned how to train by myself. You are more than welcome to join me but I probably won't be that much fun. Just practicing some flips and stretches. Maybe a little more cardio later. Staying in shape is never a bad idea she replied with a smile grabbing her water bottle and taking a gulp. If this girl was human then she should be easily convinced of Eliza's story but if not then the girl might know what Eliza was and that could cause things to get sticky. [/blockquote]

This couldn't really be the slayer she thought. Any watcher worth anything wouldn't let his slayer 'train' in a public park alone especial when she was this new to the position. Making sure of the power again just to be sure. Yup, this was the slayer. Barely able to keep the disappointment out of her eyes. Maybe she should just kill this girl. It would be a mercy really. She wouldn't have to go through the pain and anguish of watching everything she holds dear burn and turn to ash. It was because of that thought that she decided that she would indeed live through this night. Lilith had been called many things, mercifully was not one of those things. "Really? I think it would be allot of fun. I haven't been able to train with someone like you in a very long time you see." Watching the girl closely and starting to see confusion and anxiety cross her eyes while she tries to remain calm, still not understanding the danger the small petite girl represents. Knowing she should walk away and catch the slayer by surprise at a later date. But that simply wouldn't be as much fun. Isn't it a little dangerous for a girl like you to be out here all on her lonesome? No wait...don't say it. But I'm the chosen one! One girl in all the world to stop the dark and all the other propaganda the council is preaching these days! What do I have to be afraid of! Now...be a sport and have a dance with me. Lets see if they still make slayers like they used to". Looking up into the slayer's eyes with a childish grin. This will be fun.

Still not knowing exactly what she was dealing with she wasn't exactly that thrilled to being challenged in the middle of a playground in broad daylight. Plus she didn't know everything that a slayer should know considering she had never had a watcher and still didn't have one, and the fact that she had only been a slayer for about a week. This was not her idea of good timing in the least. But of course here was this young girl that was obviously more than she seemed, most likely a demon due to that fact that it was sunny out and that she appeared fairly normal. Fun.
I never said any of that, just so you know I haven't exactly reviewed the slayer handbook yet so the whole catch phrase thing, yeah it doesn't really mean a whole lot to me she replied. Of course she had heard the chosen one saying before when she was younger but it wasn't something that she went around advertising. There are plenty of things in this world that I can't handle. But that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter that I am out on my own, I don't have someone dictating my every move she replied with a shrug. It was all fair game for her at this point, she didn't have to go to anyone for guidance, she didn't have to follow commands, not yet.
I don't want to fight you, it is broad daylight and really it isn't worth it to me she replied but was ready if the girl decided to attack anyway. Her stance seemed casual but she was closely watching and calculating every move that the other girl made to see exactly when she would strike. She couldn't risk letting herself lose focus now, doing that could get you killed especially when you are dealing with someone unknown. [/blockquote]

Lilith's smile falters in the face of the slayers unconcerned blow off. This isn't the way this was supposed to go. Was she....blowing me off or something? Me...being blown off like some newly made vampire? W...what do you mean you don't want to fight me? A little unsure how to approach this now. Just start swinging? Stomping her foot in a childish gesture. How can this girl look so unafraid? Angry at the confusion that must be showing on her face she quickly changes her expression back to a evil grin.
I suppose I wouldn't want to fight me ether. But isn't it you know....your job or something? Do evil creatures of the night need to take a number or something to get some of the slayers time? Do I need to get in line? I didn't realize you were so popular. Even after all the goading Elisa still wont take the bate.
Losing patience with the girl she lunged and struck out at her. Anticipating the strike but not the force behind it she broke through her defense and landed in a heap on the ground. Not giving her a chance to rise she continued the attack. Keeping the damage to a minimum and leaving her bruised and battered but nothing to serious. She only wanted to make an introduction after all. With Elisa on the ground trying to catch her breath it was time to go. Her time was almost gone for now. She could feel Hope intruding on her thoughts. Grabbing Elisa by the hair and looking into her eyes. "Leave slayer. Leave before its to late. Your in way over your head."
Walking back onto the street thinking they don't make slayers like they used to.
